Attentive service, beautifully made food and good wine flight. We had the Sunday Supper (think that is what it is called) which was reasonably priced (but still expensive for us!) for this type of restaurant. The only thing that I found difficult was the level...More

We have been to Dovetail a few times and love it more each time we go. The restaurant does not make a big deal of its commitment to locovore/farm-to-table freshness of ingredients, but it is the equal of, say, a Blue Hill (that really sells...More

On my last trip to the USA I went to the French Laundry and left completely disappointed. I decided to try Dovetail for my latest trip as it had a focus on vegetables (I'm vegetarian) and was close by to where I was staying. I...More

A up scale classy but casual environment. Exquisite food not only in taste but in aesthetic presentation. The service is n exemplar in a way that allows the focus to be on the company and food.

I've eaten here twice and both dinners were excellent: food, service, decor...everything. It's more popular now than our first time but we had no trouble booking a table for the night we wanted. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who asks for some place special....More

Food is good but portions are tiny. Order the stake and you'll get 3-4 slices of meat (basically, 3-4 mouths full). Atmosphere is awesome and so is the service. Drinks are overpriced and portions meager. Be ready for sticker shock when the bill comes!

Tried it on a Monday, so my other half, who is not veggie can also have the vegetable centered menu ( some meat in it). Great food and wine, friendly staff, have to book in advance.

Made a reservation and was shown a nice table in the corner. The restaurant was quite busy and it took a while before we could get the menu . After having looked at the menu for a while, it was difficult to draw attention to...More

Smart casual, but after the meal I had there I'd recommend a clean bowling shirt!
