After checking in, I needed a light bite and the 20th floor View of the World provided a wonderful beginning to my visit to NYC. In January, it is relatively quiet, but I could sit windowside on the Terrace overlooking the 9/11 Memorial pools and...More
I don't mind overpaying for a hotel breakfast buffet, but I do like it to appear generous. Very skimpy buffet. For instance, fruit salad had cantaloupe and a few lonely pineapple cubes. And that was it! Everything felt like it was meager and half-hearted.

NYC’s only rooftop revolving restaurant. We always come by when we’re in town. They open at 5:00 P M. The $40 buffet is well worth the price. For the fruit, cheese, and dessert selection ONLY, it’s $21. Ms. Karina was attentive and charming.
Stopped in the View of the World during a recent business trip. Had casual dinner in the evening and a free breakfast (part of hotel stay). Staff was pleasant, food was good, great amenity to the hotel.
As we stayed at hotel, we visiting this place a few times. The food (bar snacks) was on point. We sat at the bar and the bartender was friendly and very personable.
The view was really nice.
Overall, it was a nice time.
Came here for a team lunch one afternoon. The views outside were awesome, but the musty carpets and the service were not. It was excruciatingly slow. We did have a large group but the rest of the restaurant was pretty much empty, and we ended...More
