July 9th we visited on a whim for lunch/brunch. All the Mimosas you can drink in 90 min. YUM! We sat upstairs on the balcony and it was lovely. Ordered pulled pork sliders and croque madame which came with such amazing fries we ordered another side order. Staff was great. Friendly, prompt but not over solicited. She stayed on top... More

Dropped in for a quick lunch. The service was very friendly and the food was great! However it did take some serious amount of time to get the burger which is the only downside.

Called in after a long day shopping. I was greeted by friendly staff and served promptly. The bar has a good atmosphere and the food very tasty and cooked to my liking. If I'm in the neighbourhood again I would call in for a Guinness.

Well we went in this pub a few times, friendly , and chatty bar staff, inc Barry were top staff. We didn't eat, too busy , working on having a light ale 🍺🍺 Most of the bars around this area have a strong Irish connection , and also most have happy hour, so get in there. Beers in NY, are... More

We had never heard of the Pig & Whistle chain before. We were impressed with the pubby atmosphere and delicious food. Nice mix of people - some there for dinner, some there for drinks, all there to get out of the snow and have a good time.

Needed a quick bite after the theatre and this was recommended by a hotel staffer. Food was good, service was good and the prices were very fair. Late in the evening this is a bar scene and noise level rises accordingly. Hostess was most gracious in moving us away from the speakers that were right next to the first table... More

Visited Pig 'n' Whistle during a snow storm. Inviting restaurant. Good food but nothing special. It can get busy with the locals taking advantage of the brunch specials one weekends.

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
