Recommended by the front desk at our hotel so we gave it a try and it was great. The pizza was very good. It will be on the list next time I visit New York.

I have not been to for many years but it was as I remembered it. We requested the dining room upstairs and it was not too crowded for an early lunch. The pizza was fresh and I enjoined the thin traditional New York crust made in a brick oven. We ordered a salad for 4 but there was enough for... More

We had a 17" cheese pizza to go $21.00. Great brick over pizza. Not at all greasy. Adding any toppings was extra $4.00 for meat and $2 or $3 for veggies.

If you are visiting NYC Angelos Pizza by Central Park is AMAZING!! Pizza was so good and my veggie panini was delish. The service was great too! We got there at 11:30 am for lunch and by 12:30 it was packed. A must pizza place to try. I'll be back for sure

Angelos was recommended to us by a New Yorker so we trusted that it would be good. Well folks, it isn't! We went tonight and chose a large pizza to share with mushrooms and Parma ham extras. When it came, it looked nothing special and tasted even worse. The ham was so tough that we had to leave it off.... More

While staying in Times Square my family and I visited this restaurant and were very glad we did. The pizza was excellent and very filling. Plus it was located right next to the Steven Colbert theater which I'm sure helps there business. This restaurant seemed quick authentic for NYC which is why we really went there. We weren't disappointed and... More

We chose Angelo's because it was so very convenient to our hotel, not because of any great recommendation or prior knowledge but we couldn't have made a better choice for our needs. The restaurant had great eye appeal, the staff was friendly and their service was great. We had a Margarita Pizza, the Caprice Salad, and a sausage & peppers... More

Went here whilst visiting New York and from the outside it looked like a quiet café with only a couple of customers which was quaint. Once inside we were taken upstairs to be seated which was half full at around 6.30 pm so quite early and not over busy but with a nice relaxing ambience. Waitress was efficient and patient... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
