No soda here ... only fresh foods. We stopped here and bought salad, breadstick and drinks for lunch in Central Park. We also bought chocolate brownies here which were delicious. This is a great place to buy food and its reasonably priced. There is hot foods, cold salads, cheeses, wine, beer and a grocery part for other bits and pieces... More

Whole Foods offers salads, cooked foods, soups and desserts, along with pizzas and many other delicious selections. The sushi is fresh and tasty. There are seats and booths and long tables to enjoy your pickings. I prefer to eat here because I choose my food and take as much as I want.

I always find whole foods just wonderful for prepared foods. Their soups in winter and salad items in summer are wonderful. My visit this day was for items for a Fourth of July picnic in Central Park. And wow was it busy. But alll good thanks to helpful, if overworked staff.

This is heaven for the those who LOVE selection and culinary craft. There is an are to eat, great flowers, magazines, and the floors above have some great shopping and art. The only draw back is the intense presence of counter terrorism police force, BUT better to have them than to not.

Only a 5 minute walk from our Broadway hotel. Fresh fruit and huge snack/picnic choices to take to Central Park. Store very busy but well stocked and so clean, lines move quickly. Also picked up hot food to eat in our hotel suite when we had an evening in

I think this place is so busy due to to population, not because it's a great store. It's one of the only options and it does come in handy when you are traveling and you forgot one of you natural remedies or products. however, I think I will search for a local health food store next time. it's gone down... It was nice to find more unique pastries like Petit Fours offered at their store as it is hard to find anywhere else, They also make nice salads that are huge and will probably last you through lunch and dinner. Lots of other choices for eats also, the cashier lines move very quick no matter what line you are in.

This location is a must if you like Whole Foods. It's one of the largest branches and has a really wide variety of options, plus an expanded dining selection. Lines can get really long, so plan your time accordingly.

Looking around for a picnic to take to Central Park and a local referred us here. Downstairs in the Time-Warner building , easy to find. We wandered around for a good 30 minutes amazed at what was available and the sheer range. We all found items that were new to us as well as being fresh and healthy , headed... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
