I was on my way to an appointment near Columbus Circle and had lunch at the bar. I order the spinach salad. After fifteen minutes or more it had not arrived. I asked the bar tender about it. He looked at the computer and seemed puzzled. He said he would go to the kitchen to check. When he returned he... More

Waiting for my wife who was shopping I couldn't think of a better place to relax, take in the view over Columbus Circle and beyond and enjoy some high quality snacking and a glass of excellent Chablis. I loved the pate! The service was very attentive and friendly. If you're anywhere near CC and fancy a light bite and a... More

I have eaten baked goods on my many trips abroad but I can honestly say I have never had a cheese danish like the one from bouchon bakery in the time warner building. The bread part is a rich croissant made from the richest butter I have ever tasted and then the cheese tastes like the finest mascarpone cheese you... More

We came here for lunch on a Friday. It was busy but we were seated quickly. The environment and decor are very pleasant. It gives you a relaxing feeling. Overall, the food is good, but nothing special. My wife had the tomato soup, it tasted too sour. The Quiche is fine. So, is the toasted ham & cheese on Brioche... More

Grabbed some sandwiches and pastries before heading out to enjoy the afternoon in Central Park. Pro tip: If you don't like the bakery menu, you can order takeout from the main menu at Bouchon (e.g. if you want a heartier salad).

We ducked into Bouchon while we were walking through Rockefeller Plaza on our vacation because my husband has their cookbook. We ordered a dozen macaroons and sat at a bar facing the Today Show studio to enjoy them. You must try these macaroons! The caramel ones...there are just no words!

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
