There's not a lot of options when it comes to coffee and there's a good reason for that. They know coffee and the one I got, is still the gold standard for all future cups of coffee. Try it!

Not cheap ,but much better than Starbucks... Fresh coffee, good machines and skillful barista. The perfect recipe for a decent cappuccino!

My husband and I did a NYC day trip arrived 7am. We went straight to Chelsea Market and looked for coffee. I saw this little coffee place by the corner. I think we had the Brazil & IT WAS REALLLLY GOOOOOD! We had to take some home. It's one of the best coffee places I've been to.

A great place to catch up with friends, sit and watch the world go by or grab a coffee on the run. The alphabet city location is quiet with a nice vibe and most importantly has amazing coffee!

They have good coffee. The ice coffee was strong. They sell whole beans espresso and coffee to go. If you buy a bag you get a free coffee

Staying in East Village

Neighborhood Profile
East Village
There’s still an independent vibe to the East Village, which offers plenty of unique small businesses catering to longtime New Yorkers and area college students alike. The East Village retains a bit of the old-time neighborhood feel that you can still experience today thanks to a mix of locally-owned shops, cozy restaurants, and lively bars. The scale of the residential blocks makes this a wonderful place to wander up and down the streets searching for the newest hip spot, or an old-school favorite. In the center of the neighborhood, Tompkins Square Park serves as a gathering point for the New Yorkers that call the East Village home. The people-watching here is hard to beat.
