Took advantage of the restaurant week special. The food was quite good, but the service was ok. For dining alone, the staff was not too warm or into conversation. Could have made the experience 10x better. The place was empty so it wasn't because of being busy and having to wait on other tables. Maybe next time?

Had lunch here recently and was impressed. Food was good - no complaints from anyone. Usual busy Manhattan atmosphere, but reasonable prices and great food. Will return.

It started with cocktails which did not arrive for an age -- on complaint to the manager, he said 'they will come' and wandered off. The quality was Ok, but the price high The lamb which was meant to be made fresh each day was dry and chewy. The bakhlava indifferent. The Turkish coffee was not offered at different sweetness... Visited Pera during restaurant week and enjoyed the set menu. The restaurant was full and we were lucky to get a table. Tables are packed close together and it tends to get very noisy. Interesting starter of a taco with a Lebanese variation. Mains were fairly standard with chicken and lamb kebabs. The kebabs were fairly standard and nothing special-... More

We decided to visit this restaurant last Sunday evening as advertised Sunday evening 3 course menu 32 dollars plus 50% off wine. On arrival we were told we could not have that price and it would be 40dollars not 32 as advised. The food was very average to say there were only two other tables taken in the whole restaurant... My wife and I met up with friends from grad school (40 yrs ago) . There were 6 in our party and the staff treated us very well. We had an excellent table set in a nook by the wine wall. The 3 course prefix was excellent. I had the pasta and my wife the lamb skewers and we shared.... More

I visited here for dinner with friends and was delighted with the quality of food we were served. Service was good and all the staff were friendly. The food was not cheap but the quality was excellent.

This is my third visit to Pera Mediterranean Brasserie. The restaurant is very lively at all hours of the day. I have visited late-night, for dinner and for lunch. Though the prices are quite pricey, the food is consistently good. If you go with friends--I recommend the Tapas as they do serve good portions to share. The service is very... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
