Visited while waiting for Gramercy Tavern. What a great ambience with helpful staff. Good (but pricey) champagne. You can skip the appetizers though. Seemed pre-prepared and definitely not appropriate to pair with the pricey champagne.

A party spot for friends celebrating birthdays. Chic, nice, pricey but you feel sophisticated when you are in your 20's.

This is a nice romactic place, especially if you can get the cubby hole :) I enjoy their foood and champ. A little pricey but your mate should be worth it.

I've been to this Flute location in the past before and have always loved coming here. My last visit before this one was in March 2013. The service was great, a little slow but great. First off I tried about 5 or 6 times to...More

Description
Flute Bar & Lounge offers every guest a VIP room experience. At Flute Gramercy, row upon row of champagne bottles reach up to a dramatic double-height ceiling that is typical of the neighborhood's original industrial architecture. The bottles are a backdrop to a long bar and candle-lit lounge that is decorated with the owner's collection of original artwork. Couples and small groups can find a spot in the extensive banquette seating or cozy up near one of our fireplaces. Larger groups will find room to mingle in front of the bar. On Tuesday nights we offer two-for-one drinks (including champagne!) until 8pm. A small stage in the middle of the lounge hosts weekly live jazz on Wednesday nights.
