OMG brunch

I will definitely come back to brunch at the Barking Dog. I had the salmon omelete and it was delicious. The highlight for me was really the muffins. They toasted it a little bit and that made it so damn good! The price is really good and the service was friendly. Totally recomend the Barking dog... read more

The restaurant is situated in the uptown Manhattan, so it can be easily reached by subway. The food is absolutely delicious, the service is fast, the staff is very kind and helpful. They have a great variety of food, so you can always find something for your taste. Their coctails are amazing, my greatest compliments to the bartenders who do... More

The breakfast plate we had was great. But the best part was the large Irish coffee we had. It was in a tall glass and seemed to be half filled with Jameson whisky. Let's say it started our day off in the right New York State of mind for our vacation. ;)

They have an interesting selection of offerings available at a good price. Nice selection of draft beers and the servers take good care of you.

Went to a dog birthday party a few months ago. Party was held outside with three dogs attending. The awning was broken so we had to endure the sun as well as the heat. Our dogs had their water bowls and stayed under the table. We all ordered salads and shared a sundae. The salads were large (Cobb , breakfast... More

This is your basic midtown lunch place - a place to grab a sit-down lunch with colleagues. Food is okay and service is pretty quick.

This location is closed. Patio was pretty, food was ok, brunch deals were not as great compared to neighboring restaurants.

I've never been disappointed with The Barking Dog - love the vibe and the theme. Food as always been predictably solid, never quite jaw dropping but also never disappointing. Definitely a spot that's on my reliable list of brunch/breakfast places. My only complaints would be that all three times I've been, I've had very unfriendly waitresses and had to wait... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
