I purchased a strawberry shortcake for my wife’s birthday on 8/10 and I was absolutely disgusted at the product. When I opened the cake there were molded strawberries on top of my cake. I am returning the cake but I am so disgusted and disappointed...in this restaurant.More

We have been to New York twice and are yet to find a better place to eat. We ate breakfast here with the nicest omelettes, and came for treats in the afternoon with the nicest cheesecake I've ever tasted. Can't wait to visit again later...this year!More

If you’re in New York City and you love cheesecake you must stop at Juniors! The four days we were in NYC we stopped at Juniors three different times for breakfast and cheesecake. Make sure you check in when you arrive to reserve your spot...in line. They had self-check iPads when we went. Not sure what they do now with Covid.More

I'm sorry to give this a five but I'm reviewing it twice for the 2 visits. First visit would have got a 5, second visit a 2. Ok, first visit. Take out cheesecake. Great service and great price for true NY cheesecake. It was to...die for. Amazing! 2nd visit, we ate in hoping the food was as amazing as the dessert. We were wrong. Over salted food. We even offered the waitress to try it but she could tell that we had hardly eaten any of it. We had 1 meal refunded out if 2 meals and a side and left hungry. The waitress was very apologetic but we feel she was told what we could have as refund. I would certainly say to anyone to avoid the restaurant but get a dessert.More

Visited in April 2019- sorry for the late review. We happen to come across Junior’s (on 49th Street) as it was opposite our hotel in Times Square & wanted to experience eating at a New York diner. The restaurant was very busy, after putting our...names down on a list, we had to wait in a queue for our table. But this gave us time to explore the menu (as it was our first visit). The waiting staff were very busy but they were all friendly & knowledgeable. After being seated, our drinks arrived fairly quickly however our food took a long time to arrive - which was slightly frustrating as we were very hungry by this point (after waiting long for our table). I ordered the Grilled Cheese sandwich with fries- it was delicious! The thick cut bread was sweet & savoury at the same time & the overall meal was very satisfying. We were persuaded by our waitress to try the original Junior’s cheesecake - I’m so glad we did, as it was the best cheesecake I have ever eaten!! It was definitely worth our visit to the dinner. The cheesecake was so delicious, we came back a few days later & got it as a takeaway & enjoyed it in our hotel! I would definitely recommend eating at Junior’s dinner- even if it’s just for the cheesecake!More

OK look, I do lots of reviews and try and be fair and open with my readers/followers... There isn't a great deal to say about this place, as most know what it is known for... So the basics, the food is exceptional, the plate portions...are massive, the cheesecake should be in the hall of fame, the milkshakes should be patented and overall this is just the best place ever to eat breakfast at... Sometimes you have to queue, but that's OK as you know you are going to eat well. Eat good, and eat until you can't eat anymore.... Love this place and it is a proper US diner experience.....More

Excellent. Enough said. The cheesecake was delicious Service was relatively quick considering the number of people who were in the restaurant. I know NYC is known for cheesecake and this only helped to enhance that image.

Classical american diners. It’s mostly famous for it’s fabulous cheesecakes, but it has various menu, so you are not limited to desserts, but can have a nice full dinner.

We tried to get into Junior's before attending a performance of "To Kill A Mockingbird" nearby, but in spite of putting my name on the wait list, by the time we arrived, we took one look at the long line and realized we wouldn't be...able to finish before the play started. So we came back a couple of days later after a matinee performance and were able to get in after a short wait. We had eaten lunch elsewhere, so decided to just have a glass of wine and a slice of cheesecake. Had we seen the size of the slices in advance we might have decided to share just one slice...or maybe not.... It's one of the best cheesecakes I've ever had, and I ate every bite. The entrees that we could see on the tables around us looked delicious and very generous in size. This is no place for a diet or petite appetite. The waiter was delightful and the service prompt. By the time we left, the line had grown considerably, a testament to the quality and value at Junior's. This place will be on our list for our next visit to NYCMore

I really have no idea. They do have a store next to the restaurant where you can certainly buy cheesecake and other bakery products. If they have it, it should be available here.
