Located in Gotham market foodcourt, it was obviously a noisy location for a meal. We both chose the tagliatelle bolognese - the food was tasty and the portion size not too large so fine for us. We weren't offered desserts so didn't think they served...More

Located in an unique food hall (Gotham West Market) on 11th Street in the Hell's Kitchen area, dell' anima was my biggest food surprise in NYC. Seating is around a chef's counter - part inside, part outside. I had the Tajarin alla Carbonara - and...More

This restaurant is located inside Gotham Market. It has a bar with seating both inside and outside. The chefs were cooking right in front of you while you eat. The servers and chefs were really friendly. You could tell they loved working there and were...More

This was my fave restaurant in nyc. Packed house, celeb sightings. And yet somehow the owners couldn’t make it work financially after 10+ years in that space? I don’t pretend to understand the nyc restaurant biz or why they couldn’t find a similar space to...More

We never had the chance to make it to dell’anima until recently. Only to find out it will be closing soon. We went for brunch and liked it a lot. Shame it will be closing.

I had the baked eggs with pancetta and rosemary, my guest had the eggs with polenta and mushroom. Both dishes were remarkable. We will return here often. Great interior space, nice outdoor seating, and an ideal location.

I went for the first time on a busy Saturday night. We were lucky that we got a seat at the Chef Counter which was amazing to watch the food ballet that the Chef has choreographed! The Chef could not be friendlier and the food...More

We had a lovely sidewalk lunch at this small trattoria in the West Village. It was bright, sunny Sunday, and we happened upon it. The service was friendly and helpful, and the Italian food was nicely prepared and moderately priced.

Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was
here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter
culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for
its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to
get a feel for this diverse and energetic
neighborhood. You’ll find NYU students, street
performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the
fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess.
