Very good selection of burger and fries. The 50/50 lemonade and green tea combination was a stroke of genius.

Decided to go here for a quick lunch and was not disappointed, it's not your average fast food place, miles above Five guys and the other fast food places. Quick service within reason maybe waited 7 or 8 minutes for my food, a good selection on the menu, fresh food, claims to be organic and/or free range. Prices were good also,... More

Besides is being absolutely fantastic. They have gluten free options so that pleased me very much and the caramel shake was to die for.

We headed out for a fast lunch and Shake Shack was really a good choice. The staff was doing a good job taking orders and you get a beeper that flashes when you order is ready. The Shackburger with cheese and the crinkle cut Yukon potatoes was really good.

The queue was just so worth it! The ingredients from my ShackBurger® Single were so fresh. Too bad we were too stuffed to try the other favorites like it's frozen custard. Will definitely try more on its menu if I'm in NYC again.

Well, if you want to have one of the best, if not the best, frozen custard you ever had, better run, don't walk over to the Shake Shack nearest you. I've been to two different ones, one in Boston and one in NYC, both wonderful. The hamburgers were really great, the hotdog just perfect and the crinkly fries hot and... More

Staying in Flatiron District

Neighborhood Profile
Flatiron District
Offering many of the city’s best restaurants and shops set amid classic New York architecture, the Flatiron District is no longer under the tourist radar. At 23rd Street is the famous triangular Flatiron Building, which makes a good picture no matter what angle you photograph it from. Be sure to look up at the elegant architecture as you stroll the streets - much of this neighborhood is part of a historic district that was home to many of the city’s most famous department stores at the turn of the century. At the northern end of the neighborhood, Madison Square Park is best known for being home to a famous burger shack, but it can also be a quiet refuge to spend an afternoon, and it frequently hosts interesting public art exhibits. In the lower part of the Flatiron District you'll find Union Square, a bustling crossroads at all times of day and night.
