We couldn't stop with one of these and one of those - we filled a shopping bag with our selections! And not a disappointment among them!

We stopped in here while walking around Chelsea Market. We got a loaf of sour dough bread, a coffee and a hot chocolate. The hot chocolate and coffee were just ok. The bread was delicious!

We found this place via Trip Advisor and were glad we did. It was very busy but we were able to find somewhere to sit in the small eating area. Three of us had ham, egg and cheese sandwiches which were excellent. My daughter had the pain au chocolat which she said was excellent. A great start to the day... More

Lovely breakfast bakery. Chocolate and cherry scones/buns are legendary. Still looking to emulate the recipe! Would highly recommend if you are looking for a quick breakfast. Coffees good too.

We recently went to Amy's Bread in NY and loved it. Charming place with a small area in back to eat. The Breads, Pastry and breakfast sandwiches are to die for. We went back several times during our weekend stay

On recommendation by our property manager, we stopped into this tiny place for bagels and coffee two mornings. Best bagels we have ever had. Amy's has very limited seating so it's a grab and go sort of place. The wait for service can be a long one if there is a line.

We were looking for a light meal prior to seeing a Broadway show. My husband and I each had one of their attractive and tasty sandwiches. Outstanding cup of hot chocolate. Friendly and efficient staff. Small, but adequate seating area.

Took a chance and walked in hoping to pick up a few delicious treats the afternoon before Thanksgiving; happily, my timing was excellent, and I was able to quickly choose a few items and pay. By the time I accomplished that, though, the line was well out the door and into the street! Amy's Bread is deservedly popular. I made... More

Great small location, awesome varieties of bread, high quality, local content. We had a hard time figuring what to eat as there were so many choices. Can't go wrong with this place!

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
