We were looking for a light meal prior to seeing a Broadway show. My husband and I each had one of their attractive and tasty sandwiches. Outstanding cup of hot chocolate. Friendly and efficient staff. Small, but adequate seating area.

Took a chance and walked in hoping to pick up a few delicious treats the afternoon before Thanksgiving; happily, my timing was excellent, and I was able to quickly choose a few items and pay. By the time I accomplished that, though, the line was well out the door and into the street! Amy's Bread is deservedly popular. I made... More

Great small location, awesome varieties of bread, high quality, local content. We had a hard time figuring what to eat as there were so many choices. Can't go wrong with this place!

These little cafe bakeries have savory and sweet delights as well as delicious coffee. I love to stop by for a chocolate sourdough stick and a great cup of Joe!

Housed within Chelsea market this became my favourite little bakery. Delicious bread and freshly baked sweet and savoury pastries this is a great place to shop!

We visited Amy's bread on a number of occasions and loved ever visit. Their coffee is strong, hot and well made, their fruit cup fresh and zingy but there best offerings are their pastries. Having even there a number of times I feel qualified to say everyone was excellent. What was even more satisfying was that the range available varied... More

Excellent muffins, cakes and breads - try the olive oil and almond cake ! Very good coffees as well, and a warm and friendly atmosphere. We suggest to go there a bot off peak hours if you want to sit, the place is pretty tiny.

Amy's breads and cakes are excellent. One of the most authentic bakeries in this rapidly commercializing area. We had great coffee and croissants. There is a seating area in the back, small but intimate and welcoming. There were kids, couples, all kinds of people enjoying the morning. We had apple muffins to go and more coffee. Though it was busy... More

There are 3 locations scattered throughout the city. Each one offers great bakery. The cheesecake was outrageously delicious. One of the finest we ate while in the city. The setting is eclectic, but yet inviting to sit and enjoy the calories.

Well not really but bloody good cakes!! We found this place last year and I sought it out again on my solo trip this November. Great choice of bakery items, friendly service and the Ginger Ale was a good tipple to help revive tired legs after a day wandering the city.

Thank Mark J

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
