A great place to grab a pastry treat and a coffee! To go or dine in. Limited seating available and tends to get busy. Highly recommended.

Was the best coffee I managed to find in two weeks. Not that weak bucket of crap the chains ladle out. Good Italian style without diluting too much with excessive milk or hot water. Cakes, bagels etc was a bonus.

I stopped by Amy's late one evening when they were getting ready to close. They had a nice selection of premade sandwiches which they were selling buy one get one free because of the late hour. The sandwiches were good. Everything looked appetizing, but I didn't try anything else.

This is a little oasis of tranquility in a very busy city. Very pleasant first time so we went back. Loved the coffee art.

Tucked into this place before catching a flight at the end of vacation -nice place with lots of locals dropping in. Had a tasty quiche and tea. Try the specialty breads for a real treat - Rosemary twist and the olive twist both so so good I wish I would have taken a dozen home! The sign on the door... More

Carbs galore! Yummy oat scones, baguettes, dinner rolls and luscious cakes!! Breakfast is the drawing point, excellent rolls. Croissants, pastries and specialty coffees. It's a bakery not a restaurant. Limited tables and counter space. You take out and find a table inside Chelsea Market, which is converted space of the original Nabisco factory. Awesome space with stores and eateries! Visit... More

Amy's Bread was recommended to us by someone else who happened to visit here a while ago. It's crazy how recommendations for tiny bakeries like this make it all the way across the country! When we visited while in town this week, we were thrilled with every aspect of this place. The people were friendly, the atmosphere was warm and... More

Called in at 8.20 for breakfast, little choice, very good almond French toast but the egg and bacon bagel and spinach and egg sandwich were dry and over cooked. Sadly v disappointed.

An escape from the fast pace of New York, the yummy selection of artisan bread, grilled cheese treats and the best blueberry muffins .Accidentally ended up in Hell's Kitchen only to discover Amy's heavenly delights. Had breakfast every morning for a week.I am missing the treats and the best service in NY.

Thank Nicholas B

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
