The restaurant was busy so perhaps they were stretched in the kitchen . The thin base Giardino pizza that I chose had a base that was too crispy and was slightly burnt. It was hot and noisy in there but it was a Sunday night in a heatwave!

Found Vezzo on TripAdvisor :). Went there on Friday evening. It was packed! Thought we'd have to wait 45 minutes, but the wonderful host asked if we wanted the one table left outside...we did! The service was wonderful and the pizza was the thinnest, crispest pizza I have ever had. We also split a house salad which was spectacular too.... More

Nice restaurant, friendly staff. The thin crust pizza is good , but toppings are expensive. It was cheaper to split a large pizza instead of ordering 2 slices each.

The venue is loud and cramped, but he pizza is excellent and the prices are moderate. If you're in the area and looking for authentic NY pizza, you can't go wrong with this place.

No reservation, quickly seated and served. Seafood pasta a good size with a superb salad (huge). My son, who eats a bit, was served an 18 inch pizza, and won't shut up bout it. Apparently, it's biblical. Attentive, patient, non intrusive service. Happy days.

I love this place! We found it on our last NYC trip and had to come back. It's a relaxed affair and the food simplistic but the crust is amazing. If only the photos had smell!

We had some time to kill on a Saturday afternoon and happened across Vezzo. The kids love pizza and it was convenient so in we went. Seated promptly, were brought water, and our order taken. Pizza came out fast, and it was GOOD. Very reasonably priced. Super thin with just enough sauce. What was as impressive as the service and... More

Place for locals. Good to grab a sandwich or eat one of their thin crust pizzas. Not a real italian pizza but still tasty. Appreciated the service, very friendly

Found this gem by doing 'restaurants near me' yesterday while I was in New York! I am so glad for the TripAdvisor app. I had a Stella, Personal size pizza (thin crust), glass of Gavi, and a small salad. All were fantastic and I sat next to an administrator from Lehigh University and we had a wonderful lunch discussion. Anywhere... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
