Love all the dishes we ordered: bulogi bbq, fish bbq, kimchi stew...but you have to grill them by yourself, the restaurant has a good system so your clothes don’t smell . We come back the day after to try again. it is very near the...More

The meat was delicious. It’s fun and annoying to have to cook your dinner yourself. Ended up getting the shave ice for dessert. Yum. Staff was friendly but forgot to bring something we ordered. Didn’t care for the alcoholic drinks we tried.

There’s a huge Korean community where I live so I think I’m biased as we get great Korean food at modest prices. I was shocked that bulgogi was $34! My bibimbap with beef was excellent and my date’s spicy octopus was also very good. The...More

Nicely appointed modern dining room. Staff were friendly and professional. Barbecue was excellent - maybe not quite as great as the best in K-town but really good nonetheless. Overall a great experience.

This is the beat Korean bbq I have had in the city. The short rib slices so thin and the quality of meat terrific. Lots of kimchi and condiments and the service excellent. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area for lunch or dinner.

Bann provides a very tasty alternative to the over-priced, underwhelming fare that characterizes the theater district. Lots of choices including variable spice levels and vegetarian options. We didn’t do the Korean BBQ instead opting for an array of appetizers and hot stone bowl bibimbap. Delicious!

We were crammed next to another family of 4, despite reserving a table, and despite there being plenty of other free tables. Never mind. We selected the cook it yourself option - interesting and quite good. Duck, veggie, chicken, beef or tuna. Plenty of food...More

Dropped by before a show. Chose food from the barbecue, and it came raw to the table, so we had to barbecue it ourselves. All tables have their own barbecue. It was very interesting and the shrimp turned out delicious. Highly recommended.

Most Koreans and those who know Korean food enjoy cooking bulgogi (literally "fire meat") by themselves, but at Bann that is entirely optional. They are happy to cook the meat for you in the kitchen, rare, medium, well-done... More
