First, I would not go back. Not trying to be rude, just honest. I felt like we were talked into the appetizer. Each person wanted to try something different which would have been about 80 dollars in apps. However, our friendly waiter told us about an app that covered it all. So we did that and found out later it... More

The Staghorn Steakhouse is awesome! I had a bone-in ribeye that was out of this world! The ambience of the restaurant was friendly. Staff was courteous and made excellent suggestions for entrees and desserts. I would definitely eat here again and would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great steak and good time. However, be advised, your bill... More

When I drop nearly $300 for dinner with my wife it should feel special. While the food was very good, the restaurant was empty save for one overly-loud private party (and, of course, we were seated just outside their room- dumb, right?). Apparently they have a robust var business. Would you enjoy a bottle of wine? Almost nothing on the... More

This is a midtown west charm full service restaurant between 8th and 9th Avenue on 36th Street. The drinks are plentiful and the steaks are perfectly cooked to your order. The owner personally makes it to your table and make sure you are enjoying your service and food.

Great place to have a nice lunch or dinner away from the action but still close to shopping. Steal was crab cakes were excellent and the service as good as well. The place was not too crowded which was a surprise since the food and service was excellent. The price was typical NY and I did not find it more... More

one of those lovely places that has thick white linen table clothes and impeccable service. Prices were reasonable, steak was amazing, ambiance was lovely.

Should have known that the availability of seating was not a good sign. The bisque was very tasty and everyone seemed to be enjoying their meals. We were taking advantage of the Happy Hour offerings. The sliders were just fine .... a bit on the greasy side but good. Other offerings were likewise - better than pub food but not... More

If you are in New York City do yourself a favour and have a meal here. The steaks are great for the price. Perfect amount on the plate and the service was great. Can not fault anything here.

The stake was ok - but could not in anyway justify 134 $ (for three persons) + 20 % gratitude! The cuttage fries were good, the creamed spinach was also ok. I could make the food as good as this in 10-15 minutes in the kitchen. The waiter came with another much more expensive wine then the one I ordered... More

Group of six on a Friday evening. Wonderful service; sparse crowd. Pretty pricy, but well worth it. Everything we ordered was great, and the service was outstanding!

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
