Great meal!!! My son was excited about trying this Restraunt heard great things about it. I was concerned about the "portion". This Restrauant blew the Myth away very good portions and everyone walked away full. Of course three people had the duck which was recommended by other reviews and it was incredible. I split the prime rib with one of... More

Located in the most picturesque old house, this delightful French restaurant was simply wonderful. The service was warm and friendly, the food fresh and delicious. I look forward to the next time,

Lovely bistro restaurant. Atmosphere, staff and food all very good and not ridiculous prices. We had moules & frites and Halibut which were all excellent. Wine a bit pricey but it seems the norm in NYC. Shame as would have second bottle but too expensive. Staff very friendly and efficient. Thank you!

Whenever we're in NYC, we have dinner at Bobo and we're never disappointed. The food is always delicious, and appears to change seasonally. The atmosphere drips charm -- the same way our favorite European restaurants manage to feel elegant and timeworn at the same time. We're especially fond of their small, rooftop dining room. (Normally it's open to the stars.... More

We didn't have a reservation, and without question, we were welcomed by some of the friendliest people we met in NYC. Just "come on in, of course we can accommodate you!" and not at a table next to the kitchen either. Nice romantic lighting (we were on the top floor) and an excellent meal. We had the escargot to start... More

Good dinner spot. I went with my entire family for a bit of a reunion. The spicy margaritas are insanely delicious. That said, the service is a pretty snobby.

Great location and very cool interior. I thought the food was average as well as service was average. We did enjoy sitting at the bar before dinner. Bar tender was great and had a good variety of cocktails It is a romantic setting (a little tight at the tables). Glad we tried it

This restaurant has very good food. It is cozy and the piano player was an added bonus. The foods that my party loved best were the unusual cheese burger, French fries, duck and fish. Cons...The bus boy kept attempting to pour water into a guests vodka. He was kind of persistent and he did Iin fact do it ,even when... More

Staying in West Village

Neighborhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighborhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
