Got in ten minutes before the kitchen closed and they seated us anyway. Food was phenomenal - group had among other things seared ahi, Caesar salad, sea bass, steaks and my brother-in-law said he had the best burger he's ever eaten! Interior is beautiful. Definitely recommend.

Convenient to the hotel where we stayed. Nice atmosphere and food was good. Wait staff were very friendly and offered good recommendations.

We ate here on the last night of our four night stay in N.Y.. I highly recommend this place: good food, reasonable prices, excellent service, friendly staff, and a good range of beers and lagers. Beware the burgers, however, as they are enormous (or at least that's how they seemed to us!) but that's not really much to complain about!

We ate at Brendans twice while staying in NYC at The Gregory. The dining room is lovely with the original stained glass from 1903. The food was very good; my husband enjoyed the leg of lamb and I had a delicious ribeye. Don't miss dessert..

As a regular visitor to New York it is disappointing to write a poor review. The food is fine but some of the waitressing staff need educating on how to deal with a customer enquiry regarding tipping. We are more than aware that tipping is a necessity however we feel it should not be specifically put on the reciept and... More

I ate twice at Brendans during my stay at the Gregory. The first occasion was after I checked into the hotel and wanted a cold beer (or 3) and something light to eat. The second time I ate a burger. I loved the historical nature and atmosphere of the bar, as well as the service. For the solo travellers amusement... More

This was a great little find, the staff were really helpful and attentive. The menu had several different dishes- at reasonable prices- and our food was delicious! I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

Tried to go here one night for drinks as was unsure whether we wanted to eat. Despite the place being quite empty except for the bar area which was full we were told in a surely manner that we could not sit anywhere other than the bar - the one which was full - so we left. 2 days later... More

We had an average meal in this place, that looks really nice from the outside. My caesar salad with scrimps was kinda small and not very good, where my sons fish and chips was very impressive. The waiter must have had a bad night, as she had to have the order repeated multiple times. We ordered nothing extraordinary.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
