Just a fantastic location along with superior food and wine selections! Started the visit with a glass of Champagne at bar before being seated.... excellent experience!! Would love to go back again through Christmas holidays! Dreamy!

The brutal and unannounced axing of four business restaurants in Rockefeller Center by the Tischman management is impossible to understand. For ten years I enjoyed their food and service next to my office. We will have to wait 18 months to replace Ruhlmann by a...trendy restaurant. Thank you guys for all our meals and events. Tischman you are accountableMore

Decent food, great location for tourist areas. The food is good but nothing to necessarily go crazy for. I’ve been here a few times and it’s consistent, tastes good and is fresh. Their caviar service was excellent however they didn’t bring spoons for the fixings...until asked. I suppose we were expected to use the caviar spoon for everything. No biggie, it was still very good. Would have liked to have some more gluten free options in place of the pancakes though. Cucumber slices? Gluten free toast...anything. First time ordering the sushi and it was actually one of the best rolls I had in awhile. Very fresh with the right amount of heat (peppers). I ordered an extra roll because it was that good. Bottle service was good and very attentive. Would come back again but wouldn’t go out of my way to come back. Good but there are so many other amazing French restaurants to try.More

Struggled to find a French restaurant close to Rockefeller for a Friday night dinner. Reviews so mixed for all restaurants. Booked here due to the menu looking good and some reviews. We were visiting NY for 3 nights. When we arrived at the restaurant for...a 9pm booking, the restaurant was very quiet, only 2 other tables. This worried us, a Friday eve in NY and an empty restaurant. Service was very good and attentive, starters were nice but not amazing, French onion soup with lots of cheese, and steak tartare, which my husband said was very enjoyable, but being pregnant I was unable to try it. Main of beef bourginoun was very rich and warming, meat just fell off the bone which was lovely, with a garlic mash, just needed an extra something to make it amazing. Husband had the rabbit. He finished the lot so I assume it was nice, but again he said needed something a bit extra to make it great. Too full for dessert but the red wine was lovely, if not a bit expensive, not really many affordable wines on the menu. Staff were very friendly and we had a lovely chat with the manager after our meal, they were a credit to the restaurant. Not sure if I would rush back but we had a nice eveningMore

after shopping around rockefeller square a less crowded place than at the restaurant downstairs in the square. Nice outside sitting and good menu- also kids loved the food. House Prosecco was missing but had a nice white vine at a reasonable price.

This restaurant overlooks Rockefeller Plaza, has a nice ambiance inside and a large outside patio. Our lunch and service were good but expensive. On a pleasant day the patio is very busy. It’s mostly about the location.

After several lunches and dinners on the outdoor terrace of this restaurant, our conclusion is that it is without any doubt the best place on Rockfeller Plaza. Outstanding service, superb place, excellent dishes and wines. Even the simplest Ruhlmann salad with shrimps is a must....Frankly no more expensive than all those tourists traps that pretend serving fine food (I mean for a French guy...). So don't hesitate ...More

We had the pleasure of dining at the Brasserie Ruhlmann for lunch during the Fourth of July Holiday weekend and no one was there. It was like our own private party and the service couldn't have been more attentive. The food was excellent and the...portions most generous. Fortunately we had the afternoon to walk the park to burn off some of the massive amounts of calories we consumed.More

Brasserie Ruhlmann is a favorite of ours. It is a beautiful French restaurant with outstanding decor and a beautiful outdoor patio across the street from the Rockefeller Center Rink. It is a lovely place for dinner. The food is excellent and we have always had...good service here. It is a bit pricey but you have to consider the very expensive location on prime real estate. Well worth a try if you are in the Rockefeller Center area. If the weather is nice I highly recommend the outdoor patio. Enjoy!More
