The food, atmosphere, really very nice. The price is reasonable for the food quality. But the service, is very bad. The humor of the attendants is really depressing. Some time, some arrogance may appear on the air..

There are so many great things here. Bar scene is fun. And food is incredible. Phoenician fries. Brussels sprouts Lentil croquettes. Fabulous "candy bar" dessert. Dark chocolate, salted caramel and more.

We were in NYC to meet an old friend who spoke at the UN General Assembly. He hosted a lunch and we had some time in the afternoon before the next obligations. We wandered around a bit, wound up at 236 5th Ave walked in, sat in the bar area, ordered a bottle of Leoville Poyferre and spent a great... More

The first impression you get as you walk in is the high level of noise. The decoration is clean and warm at the same time thanks to the wood panels. The food is excellent although you have to wait for quite a long time. If you like Lebanese food, do not miss this restaurant.

This is one of my must go to places whenever I am in NYC! The menu is a wonderful variety of Lebanese dishes to share as well as small plates. The brussels sprouts and roasted chicken were the best ever! Great servers, wonderful atmosphere, super food for your $$$!

We had a wonderful lunch here! Stopped in without reservations and were very impressed over the interior. The architecture is very beautiful, with high coffered ceilings and beautiful decor. Even the restrooms were impressive. Our service was top notch (thanks, Alejandr!). The drinks and food were all delicious and well-priced. The Levantine lemonade was especially delicious. We ordered the hummus... More

Wow - I have been to this restaurant a couple of times - we pushed the boat out and had some delicious Lebanese red wine, Humous with jalapeños, scallops and crispy egg-plant, every course is refreshed with freshly cooked bread, the service is knowledgable and very efficient. Louder and more fun on the ground floor and more intimate and quieter... More

Really enjoyed Lebanese food and their wide selection. Prior reservation is required as the place was packed. The resturant felt a bit congested and the service could have been better but the food made up for all these glitches.

As a connoisseur in Lebanese cuisine, I wad ready to adventure into new grounds. And this fashionable Manhattan restaurant breaks new ground indeed. Apart from the mezze and the grilled classics of Lebanese cuisine, the Lebanese owners have purpotedly decided to go beyong that, and mix and match a lot of flavours and savours. And, most of the time, it... More
