Beyond the attraction that this place starred in the famous series Seinfeld, this place sells fine soups . A selection of regular and vegetarian soups and all of them delicious. I ate a vegetarian and every soup was wonderful and my husband ate soups on the basis of chicken or meat and also it was very tasty for him .... More

Seinfeld fans have to go here. Lots of Seinfeld references. Apparently there are many locations. The original one is just off of 8th Ave on 53rd (I think?). And.... the soup IS fantastic!

Delicious lobster bisque, pricey but enjoyed it. Few locations available. More expensive at the original one.

What else to say. Best lobster Bisque I've every had and I've tried a lot of Lobster Bisque from Maine to Maryland. Family had chicken noodle that was scrumptious. And then there's the bread, could put a lot of bakeries to shame.

The best soup I've ever had. I had a cup of chicken barley and it came with a mini loaf of bread, banana, and truffle because I ordered correctly. I will be going back to try more kinds next time I'm in Manhattan.

Honestly, it was the whole build up and atmosphere which sold this place to me. To be honest the lentil soup was good, not outstanding, but good. Its vegetarian though and i was happy i had the option. Nice extras a banana and chocolate, wear your camera and theyll realise youre a tourist. You may get some extras for free.... More
