This is a good place to just drop by and spend a few hours in, especially seeing as it is so well-located. Most machines are in good working condition, if not perfect, and for the pinballs they have opted for newer offerings that don't requrie...as much maintenance, which feels like a good choice.More
The beer selection is good, you have a lot of arcade games, also one of my childhood's favourites NBA Jam. Also there are some pinball machines there. You can have a great night out with the boys there.
This is my favorite place in the city. I’ve been to New York 4 or 5 times and I always stop by here and try to beat the Pac-Man high score. I’ve only managed to beat it once but this bar is nice, usually not...too crowded on weekdays and the games are 25¢ per game so you can come in and play without buying food or drink. I’ve had snacks here before though and they’re alright as well.More
We stopped into Barcade for my Friend’s birthday on a Saturday night. We used to frequent the Williamsburg location back in college so we were excited to check this location out when we stumbled across it. The bar was crowded (Of course, it was a...Saturday). It was hard to play any of the games because of how busy it was, but there was a good selection of beer and arcade games.More
great beer great happy hour and retro arcade games for a quarter, just a few doors down from our hotel we spent quite a few hours in here over our week in NYC
Massive selection of beers and arcade games, probably not much more you need in life. Lots of happy hour drink offers and they didn’t steal my records when I left them in the bar like a drunken bum.
Really enjoyed this bar, an excellent selection of least 30 beers mostly at reasonable prices ($8). The bar runs a happy hour too which is worth checking out. Music was very good in my view, it lends itself to a good vibe. Obviously the reason...most come here is for the arcade machines, 25c a go and a lot of fun (although it does show you some of the old games have moved on). Outrun was there though.More
Do you like 80s and 90s video games? Do you like beer and other cold libations? That's about what you get when you go to Barcade. It's a real blast from the past when you can play Donkey Kong, Ms. Pac Man and Michael Jackson's...Moonwalker all in one place. Enjoy the nostalgia!More
We went here after being to the one in the Chelsea area a few times. Great beer selection as with both of them. Different food choices. We didn't order food but the maple bacon wings smelled so good!!!! Great service. My husband loves games and...got to play a bunch of rare games and had a blast.More
I was taking a stroll in New York and came across this gem of a place, with more than 35 original arcade games ! The atmosphere in Barcade was friendly and competive, and the girl serving at the bar knew her craft beers. Great place...!!!More
Quality craft beer, friendly bartender, and vintage arcade: overall a great place to spend some time in the evening if you want to experience some retro-gaming while enjoying a drink !
We hosted a team building night with Barcade and kept it super simple. $20 worth of tokens carried me+3 team members for 2 hours of games and good times. Classic titles like Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, Pac Man and NBA Jam were on-hand to entertain....The bar tender kept the drinks coming fast and furious and the food arrived within minutes of ordering. Solid spot to kick back and unwind with some pals or colleagues. I'd budget about 2 hours to do this place properly.More
Place is a blast! All the real old gfames are all still .25 so that's leaving plenty to spend on the great beer selection!
... of the bar, the mood, the bartender. A very nice place with arcade machines (not so well kept) and cheap drinks and sliders. I could live in there.
