This is a great place to have a beer during these hot summer days. They have a vast selection of draft beer so you will very likely find something you like. Food is also very good. I recommend the chicken pot pie, it's amazing.

Our first stop on our tour of NYC. This pub is an Irish bar just off Times Square. As an Irish pub it is quite average. Not many Irish staff, or good memorabilia on the walls. However, the food was quite good and the service also very efficient and satisfactory. Good for a bite and a couple of drinks.

My family including two teenagers enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere here. The food was good and location convenient for pre-show Wicked at Gershwin. Our server was great, food was plentiful and very tasty. I was disappointed to discover on our bill that we were charged for refills of our children's iced-tea and coke drinks.

A group of friends and I stumbled into this Irish Pub and it was one of two best finds of our NYC trip. Fun, lively place with a live Irish band and very friendly and funny servers. The food was excellent along with the over the top customer service. I definitely will go back when I visit again. I recommend... More

It has been several years since we last visited Emmett O"lunney's. It did not disappoint. Very convenient to the Theater District @ Broadway and 50th. Service was very good, food was tasty and well-prepared. There were 6 of us and we were all pleased with our meals. Great Irish Pub atmosphere. We were there on a Saturday evening and there... More

Decent food without being great. Carb-heavy menu with a focus on dishes like shepherds pie, chicken pot pie, bangers and mash, etc. I had the beef burger with coleslaw (trying to avoid carbs at night).

They make a great Cosmo here! The ribs were succulent and flavoursome. Good service and quiet atmosphere. A great place for lunch, despite being easily overlooked by the calamity of Times Square

So we were staying a few doors down and we passed by this place and I finally read the sign. My mom really wanted to eat the chicken pot pie. So my mom instead got a to go order of fish and chips. It was wonderful. The french fries were perfect and the fish was delicious! We kept walking by... More

With a few hours to kill before an off-Broadway play, we decided to stop in here for a drink instead of walking around Times Square - do not skip this place! It's delicious - have the nachos! Perfect for people who like beer (Irish and imported otherwise), although they do have American beers. If you don't like beer, there's plenty... More

We were looking for an early dinner one afternoon and walked into O'Lunney's. We happened to choose the final 15 minutes of a Euro 2016 semifinal soccer match. We got a table quickly away from the bar, but the play by play of the match was loudly played. The place was crowded and cheered each play. We got our beers... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
