Outrageously posh! Didn't really feel comfortable and you have to wear a suit. Maze looked much more fun with equally good food!

Went for dinner on our honeymoon/10-years anniversary. Service was fantastic! Got extra desserts to celebrate our special occasion as well. Food was excellent. Probably paying a bit for the Gordon Ramsay name. I wish the room had windows, and on a tuesday it was almost too quiet.

This review is based solely on the bar, which we went to only because we were staying at The London. We ordered two Ketel One martinis up with olives, for which we were charged $22 each- $17 for the drink and a $5 charge for having it served "up", which i have never heard of (nor have I paid more... I went with my wife while straying at the hotel.. We were let in through some secret hole in the wall...!! The restaurant it self is spacious and modestly decorated. It certainly has that air of accomplishment. But thats where it ends... Having dined at Chef Ramsay's other notable eateries we were both sadly let down... The service was as... More

After watching Gordon Ramsay for years, we had high expectations for one of his NYC restaurants. Just the opposite was true. For many of the reasons he sites on his Kitchen Nightmares, the sweet potato soup was completely bland, the fish in the fish & chips dish was a bit greasy, as was the artichoke appetizer with anchovie dip. It... More

Gordon Ramsay does it again. appreciated everything about the Maze and London Bar. We are a pre-theater 3 course at The Maze, which is the restaurant in the the bar area. A finer dining experience can be had at the Gordon Ramsay as well, but we chose the Maze. perfect sized portions and service was outstanding. for starters I had:... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
