Dinnertime can be a lonely experience for an ethical vegan. If s/he finds food that is suitable, dinner companions might not enjoy themselves -- if dinner companions enjoy the restaurant, an ethical vegan might leave hungry due to lack of choices. Blossom takes care of us all, including the animals. I say this as a skeptical, soy-allergic food snob. At... More

We had high hopes of our first vegan restaurant in NYC, but Blossom was a bit of a disappointment to be honest. The starters (flatbread & spinach cappeletti) were OK, but the flatbread had way too many thing on it to my liking, I guess I had expected different toppings on different breads (my bad). The main course (pasta) was... More

My mom and I (17) went here together. The food was amazing. The cheeseburger was probably one of the best veggie burgers I've had in my life. However, the service was not amazing. The servers seemed pushy, unfriendly, and almost judgy at some points. The restaurant is also a bit pricey. I feel like the meals were worth the price,... More

I am not competent to judge the cooking. I would like to taste more of it. I especially enjoyed a gooey ersatz cheese, made (I think) of crushed nuts or seeds. I do not know if it was genuinely fermented, as cheese is, or just crushed with flavors added. It would have been nice to have been told. For a... More

Wow, this restaurant is absolutely incredible. Whether you're a vegan, vegetarian, or meat eater, I definitely recommend this place. We had the chef sampler appetizer (buffalo risotto croquettes, seitan empanadas, fried pickles with ranch dip, seaweed caviar canapés, zucchini rolatini, and spanakopita with cashew ricotta), the port wine seitan, and the hickory barbecue tempeh. If you're a meat eater that... More

A friend and I picked this restaurant for dinner last night randomly and we were blown away. I've eaten at hundreds of restaurants in NYC and this one is something special (and it's all vegan)! The ambiance is so cozy and romantic, the service is great, and the food is unreal. We shared a bottle of vegan wine, butternut squash... More

Blossom is a cozy little vegan restaurant in one of the best areas of Chelsea. I brought a friend here who is a standard meat and potatoes type and he was very surprised with how amazing the food was. While everything is completely vegan, they do a great job creating authentic flavor and minimizing the "fake meat" options - while... More

Cozy spot with great vegan food that is beautifully presented. Worth a visit, even for those who are not vegans or vegetarians.

First time visit to this highly recommended restaurant. We were looking forward to a delicious, healthy and fun experience. I started with the sweet potato soup option. It came and turned out to have zero taste. My date had the beets that were served without any garnish or any other treatment other than being cut in two. I won't complain... More
