Walked by it initially because it did not look like a popular spot...the place was kinda empty for happy hour... less than 10 people... since we were looking for somewhere we could get a few inexpensive drinks and there were plenty of seats .... we...More

Not very welcoming from the outside but its exterior belies a welcoming compact interior. Typical stools at the bar along with booths and table space.

We ended up at Wogies after our two other choices near Wall Street were closed for President's Day. The pork sandwich (the Don) was big and tasty. I would have liked it served with some crunchy, cool veggies to offer some contrast. The chicken tender...More

Stopped in because we were close by and starving. Cheese steak sandwiches are the specialty here. Had to order fries separately. They weren't bad, but we only had a limited number of meals in NYC and we felt like we wasted one. Probably would be...More

West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the
West Village is one of the city’s most coveted
addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and
cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture,
this neighborhood has a unique old-world feel. You
won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan.
Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to
get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you
