Referred by my son's friend. Walked quite a distance for it. It was all worth. Excellent Indian warm food with exactly right amount of spices and oil. Staff takes personal interest in choosing the dishes. Excellent value for money, when you are damn hungary

Points for a very friendly welcome, including a number of extras all throughout the meal. The restaurant's feel is very nice and I especially love that you can see what the chef is up to through the glass window. The arrival of papadums with six...More

We ordered chicken dish which they explained was very spicy and eggplant dish to which no comment made. Had it not been for the rice, naan, and curry condiments we would not have been able to eat either dish. The eggplant was burning spicy. Waiter...More

In fact, I'd give it four-and-a-half stars, if such a rating were possible. My wife and I enjoyed nothing short of a feast at Yuva on a rainy evening in early August; as other reviewers noted, the place was surprisingly empty at first, though it...More

...a more positive review than the last time we dined-in at Yuva. We both thought the food was tastier. Above average. Maybe they had a diferent chef in this time (?)

I can't figure out why there is nobody ever in here, but that makes it easy to get the same table we always want. The staff was wonderful in helping us navigate away from some hidden dairy that I never knew was in there in...More

We stayed 3 days in mid-town Manhattan and ate twice at Yuva. The food was wonderful! Vegetables were fresh, chicken and shrimp were delicious, spices were perfect. We will definitely go back next time we're in NYC.

The food was very good at Yuva. Very fresh and nice touches to old standards and interesting new items. Service was fairly efficient but was disconcerted by a planeload of Indian's who had just arrived from the airport. Overall we would go back for the...More

We stopped by YUVA for lunch last week and we had a great meal. All of the food was very well done. I would have preferred it a little more spicy, but for those folks who don't want it that way, this is a great...More

Yuva is by far the best Indian restaurant here in NYC. We've been patrons since their first week of operation and the quality and consistency of the food and service has never changed. Having spent some considerable time traveling around India, we know our Indian...More

Description
Owners Kedar Shah and Hritu Deepak have teamed up with Master Chef Dhandu Ram of the highly acclaimed restaurant “Bukhara” at the Maurya Sheraton in New Delhi, India to bring you the world famous Kebabs and Slow-Cooked dishes native to India’s frontiers. The restaurant is a tribute to India’s Open Fire Cooking where Chef Ram takes his patrons on a savory culinary tour of India that features specialties of his homeland bordering Afghanistan and Kashmir. Yes, the food is traditional frontier fare presented with New York flair, but the atmosphere is as far from the rugged rough and tough northwest frontier province as you can get!
