When you walk in, you are hit by the smell of dozens of different pastries. We each sampled a cannoli; one regular and one red velvet. The red velvet was good; perfectly creamy with a chocolate dipped shell. I would have love to try all the different pastries because everything looked amazing.

Walk by this place and delicious smells waft in the air. Walk inside and it's incredible! Almost overwhelming all the beautiful and delicious pastries! Cannoli, Cream Puffs, Lobster Tails, and Eclairs are all amazing. It's worth a flight across the country, or a drive across town to go to this bakery!

Every time I come to the city this is one of them must see places. The pastries are always fresh and delicious and a huge variety even cookies are great. But definitely if you're a first time visitor try the cannoli.

This pastry shop was one of the highlights of our visit to NYC. We still are talking about it nearly a week later! Their cannoli alone are worth making a trip to NYC, and their cheesecake may quite possibly be the best on the planet!

My best friend introduced me to this bakery. Every time we visit we always stop and take cookies home. It's become a ritual, I even bring some home for my parents. The staff is always friendly and may think we're crazy with the amount we take home. They have a wide variety of goodies. Try their cannoli's too! They're the... More

I do appreciate this place is open very late on the weekdays, however I have had better cannolis in Little Italy. A group of coworkers and I were looking for some sweets late at night, and this place was close to the metro stop and still open at 10pm.

I had the traditional mini cannoli and mini chocolate dipped cannoli and they were very good! The cheesecake however left something to be desired. If you go, I recommend stick to the cannolis. I didn't try the other times but they looked good.

When in little Italy, you must do as the Italians do, eat a great creamy, fresh cannoli! You will get one if you stop at La Bella Ferrara. Great Italian pastry, but get ready to wait on a long line depending on when you arrive. Get ready to press your face to the bakery glass and start drooling, then pick... More

Staying in Little Italy

Neighborhood Profile
Little Italy
While Little Italy is one of the city's smallest neighbourhoods, its streets are packed with visitors from around the globe, especially on summer weekends when the streets are closed to traffic. Stroll up Mulberry Street, the heart of Little Italy, for a dense mix of Italian restaurants with sidewalk tables, cafes, and old-school food shops. Don’t be surprised when the hosts beckon you to pay them a visit. Stop in for a coffee and a cannoli, or grab a streetside table to take in the scenery over a hearty Italian meal.
