We have been going to Ed’s a couple times a year for the last 7 years. It’s our favorite casual restaurant in the city.

Best lobster bisque ever! Perfectly cooked lobster and briney oysters. Sit at the bar for a relaxed and unpretentious evening eating deliciously fresh seafood.

Place was kind of empty when we arrived, but full when we left. Super popular with good food! Some staff was great and some not that great! But the conclusion is positive.

We were taken to this restaurant by a friend who lived nearby. She went there regularly so we were greeted as regulars. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Of course we couldn’t resist the Lobster rolls and they were excellent. The waiter was helpful...More

Okay, it's not the fanciest restaurant in the city. But service is good and the menu is outstanding. The corn and lobster chowder is a must. Probably the best fries I've ever had, period. Will definitely visit again next time we're in New York.

Accidentally walked by this little gem. Very busy but managed to squeeze a seat at the bar. Was worried that service would be slow but food arrived very soon after ordering. Lobster was fresh and plentiful. Worth a visit if nearby

Great cozy causal atmosphere with a few small tables and a long bar. Lobster rolls were good as well as the fresh fried calamari. A few local craft beers were on tap.

The place is very small and very busy! You may be able to grab a seat at the bar, but I doubt it unless you go at an odd dinner time, 5 or 8.
