Russ and Daughters has two locations in the Lower East Side. The one on Houston is take out. The one on Orchard is sit down. Both are popular. For the sit down, on busy days, you will put in your name and get texted when...More

Best place in NYC for smoked salmon. If you are a fan of Jewish deli foods, this is a must try. Fantastic brunch plates. It's worth the wait for a table. Have been here twice and have also had fish shipped as gifts. It is...More

Our family when visiting from Australia were recommended to visit this cafe. We went for brunch and had the matzo ball soup, plain bagel and smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel. All were amazing! Service was top notch. Also, if you’re inclined, the Perry tot...More

Overall a bit hyped and overpriced for what you get. It was ok. Had to wait for approx 45mins. Service was reasonable but choices and portion sizes were below average. Not sure I would hear back frankly, but glad I visited and have sampled.

1) The reason you're here - the fish. Cold smoked, warm smoked, gravlax, pastrami'd. It's all amazing. 2) The atmosphere is so fun. You walk in and step back into the 1920s store. 3) All the other food is fantastic. Been to both this and...More

...there are good things of having a jet-lag...when you are already awake and hungry at 08:00 and get to this place long before 09:00 when the crowds start to arrive...This place has been there for 100 years and offers really good (yiddish) food...Everything we tried...More

Chinatown
Bursting with an amazing array of sights, sounds, and
smells on every block, a visit to Chinatown feels like
entering a different world. It’s a colorful spectacle
that gets even more crowded on weekends, when families
stream in to enjoy huge dim sum feasts and to stock up
at the markets on Mott Street. To take a break from
the buzz, grab something sweet from one of the many
bakeries in the area and head to Columbus Park, where

Mornings before 11am is best for brunch on Sundays. Might have seen Sarah Jessica Parker there too once. And definitely there is a bar counter seating area which caters to solos and couples too. If you do come by and drop... More
