We found this on Trip Advisor and decided to go for my girlfriend's birthday since she loves Mexican food. We had reservations for 8:30 but tried to go early. We still had to wait for almost an hour and a half. Once we were seated, and had the guacamole and salsa, we knew we made a great choice. Some of... More

Many different and unique items to choose from. Margaritas were great too. Yes, it was crowded and loud, but the overall atmosphere was alive and exciting. You could tell that serving great food and drinks was a passion with this business.

Wonderful evening spent here with friends, the food was full of flavour and easily washed down with some wonderful cocktails and wines. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a fun meal out.

I've been searching for a new go to restaurant in the theater district and I have found it!! Went here with our friends and had a great meal. While my husband didn't love the grasshopper tacos, we loved everything else. Fantastic guacamole and great salsa...was somewhat creamy. We sat in the back so it wasn't too noisy. We will definitely... More

We didn't have a reservation but were given an hour wait for dinner and then asked to eat within the next 1.5 hrs. Odd... But - delicious meals; we had a variety of courses and dinners and all four were very pleased with our meals and each other's as we tasted liberally! The wine we asked to be matched to... More

This is a busy, popular restaurant packed to bursting. We waited at the bar for a table & enjoyed a couple of very fine margaritas each. Our table was jammed in a corner next to two large groups so not exactly cosy. We enjoyed the food (shrimps and chicken enchiladas) which was nicely flavoured but not as spicy as we're... More

This is a crowded, fun place to dine close to the heart of the theater district. Busy bar. Good service-can get out out in time for curtain if you advise then. We shared main courses, a garlic shrimp dish, and carne posada. Good dessert- a molten chocolate cake and ice cream. Attractive upstairs.

This place is a must, one of the best Mexican restaurant I have been to. We all tried something different on the menu and every dish we picked was really tasty and very appetising. The margarita is a must! Will defiantly be back!

Before the theater, this restaurant is packed to bursting, so make reservations, be prepared to shout across the table! The food is great, with little creative twists on standard Mexican fare. Service is snappy.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
