My grown up children and I love coming to this restaurant every time we're in New York. The quality of the food is exceptional. The flavors are unique and yet familiar at the same time. There is sampling from most regional cuisines in Mexico. The sangria (white or red) is amazing and fruity. Service is excellent. Do make a reservation,... More

We recently visited this restaurant prior to a Broadway show. From the moment we greeted at the door until the moment we left, it was truly one of my best dining experiences to date. The wait staff were attentive and pleasant, the apps were great, the main course was so good, I was actually disappointed it was over, if I... More

We visited on a Monday evening, even though the place was packed full we had plenty of space at our table and there was a great atmosphere. The service is excellent, and the food is even better. We had the trio of guacamole to start which was delicious, hot was our favourite though. Then we decided instead of mains to... More

This restaurant is ideal for pre-theater dining. The menu offers a modern flair to traditional Mexican dishes. The Margaritas are delicious with unusual variations from the standard. The cucumber Margarita with Jalapeno salt is my personal favorite. The decor is festive and the service is efficient and friendly. The noise level is a bit loud and the tables are fairly... More

Went with my mom before a Broadway show. We made reservations because we didn't want to be pressed for time, but that was not a concern at all. Our waiter was attentive and the food came out extremely quickly. We received drinks, appetizers, our main course and the check in less than an hour. The food is a bit pricey... More

I had made reservations for 5:30pm in order to ensure I'd make my 8:00pm broadway show. We were late and showed up at 6:00pm. It was packed and there was a wait but I told them I had a reservation and we were seated almost immediately. They asked me if I had to catch a show and I said yes.... More

Went with my wife for dinner while in NYC. Staff was friendly but you won't get your monies worth at this restaurant. We ordered an appetizer ($14) which was good. I order the carne asada plate ($30) and my wife had enchiladas ($22) and a couple of drinks. What really surprised me is that they charged $6 dlls for 6... More

Can't beat the location if you're going to a Broadway show. Food is exceptional. Service was fast and friendly. Very busy place, but that can be expected for the area. Saw lots of people waiting at the bar for quite some time if they did not have a reservation. We reserved a table and sat right down despite the restaurant... More

Absolutely fantastic! You NEED to try all 4 of the ceviches as they were all different and wonderful. The queso fundido was delicious as were the chicken enchiladas. And to finish everything off with the molten chocolate cake made the dinner just about perfect.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
