If you're in NYC you've got to grab a bite at this amazing restaurant. Try the spicy guacamole and anything containing carnitas.

We enjoyed a three course meal before a show; walked in without reservations at 5:20PM to a nearly full restaurant and enjoyed delicious made to order Latino food. While moderately limiting, the menu offered a very good variety of somewhat offbeat Mexican entrees and appetizers. We had shrimp and veggies, very tasty chicken tacos and beef tacos. You may be... My spouse and I returned to Toloache last night after first dining there 2 years ago. Once again, it was a delightful experience. We tried the queso appetizer with chorizo -- delicious without being too spicy. Next were the cactus (nopales) and mushroom tacos -- you really need to treat yourself to these savory handhelds. Then we split the carne... More

Went here for New Year's Eve dinner and had such a great time! The margarita list was awesome with many different choices. Better yet, the food was phenomenal. This is real, authentic Mexican food. We are used to good tex mex food, but this was so much better. We had their homemade guacamole, quesadillas, enchiladas and some tasty tacos. Everything... More

Had a fantastic dinner here last night that catered for those, like my partner, that is a coeliac. To start the guacamole was amazing and the salsa was fantastic. I had the Tacos that were absolutely delicious and my partner had the Carne Asada, which he claimed was one of the best steaks he'd eaten! Service was also excellent; friendly,... More

Very, very good Mexican food. The small plates are perfect for a late night bite after the theater. The margaritas were quite good. Service was excellent. I had a warm and comforting chicken quesadilla. The fresh guacamole was nice too. I have also been here for their terrific brunch menu.

Best meal we had in New York! There were two in my party, and we picked about 4 things off the menu and shared them. Finished the meal with Mexican hot chocolate. :)

My party of 4 dined here for dinner on New Years Eve before we continued our celebrations. What a cosy little restaurant this is! We were seated on the upstairs section and received wonderful service from the staff. Every single dish we ordered was simply delicious! We spent a few good hours here eating and drinking the evening away and... More

After reading all the reviews we were a bit disappointed. Portion size was quite small and one of our meals arrived cold. Drinks were great as was the service but just let down by very average food
