Thanks TA friends! I randomly found this suggestion reading through forum posts and we tried it out tonight. Our food was delicious. Pleasantly surprised by the guacamole trio - loved all 3. Had great ceviche. But the best part for me was the lobster tacos. Small portion. It was perfect after our starters (for me). Our service was great too,... More

We stopped by Toloache at about 11:30AM on a Sunday with no reservation. The restaurant was not very busy yet. The waitress was able to seat us right away, but let us know that she had a reservation for our table at 1:15PM so we would need to be gone by then. That was no problem. Because we were there... Went for a quick dinner on a Monday. Had a sample of tasty and fresh guacamole, spicy ceviches and several different really delicious tacos. Good to share. The waiter was attentive and gave really good recommendations. Crowded and a bit cramped. Will be coming back soon.

Accommodated our tardiness with grace even thou they were very busy. Impressive serving team headed by a waiter that reminded me of a really good high end steakhouse waiter minus any attitude. Food was delicious. Presented flawlessly. Service was flawless.

Three of us went to the 49th Street location for brunch. The food, drinks, and service were wonderful. Reservations are recommended, however, we didn't have one and we're seated. Not inexpensive, but worth it.

We researched restaurants knowing we would need a late lunch spot, no reservations. Just in the city for the day we arrived around 3PM. We were seated right away. Service was great and the waiter even cautioned us on the small sizes for tacos, etc. Our food was all good and fresh tasting. Guacamole was fantastic. We did feel the... More

We found this on Trip Advisor and decided to go for my girlfriend's birthday since she loves Mexican food. We had reservations for 8:30 but tried to go early. We still had to wait for almost an hour and a half. Once we were seated, and had the guacamole and salsa, we knew we made a great choice. Some of... More

Many different and unique items to choose from. Margaritas were great too. Yes, it was crowded and loud, but the overall atmosphere was alive and exciting. You could tell that serving great food and drinks was a passion with this business.

Wonderful evening spent here with friends, the food was full of flavour and easily washed down with some wonderful cocktails and wines. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a fun meal out.

I've been searching for a new go to restaurant in the theater district and I have found it!! Went here with our friends and had a great meal. While my husband didn't love the grasshopper tacos, we loved everything else. Fantastic guacamole and great salsa...was somewhat creamy. We sat in the back so it wasn't too noisy. We will definitely... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
