A bit more veggie / vegan than last time, but the food is nice, the room is nice, the atmosphere welcoming and the service lovely! High points? Leek and sweet potato patties! Low point Burek - the pastry could have done with five minutes more...cooking. Oh - the wine list is exceptional.More

One of the best spots in Manhattan for sure. The food is F7$&9! Delicious. Like a m a z i n g. The place is designed so beautifully and very well decorated. Service was very kind. The owner himself took great care of us! We...felt like VIP... and the music... live jazz, we couldn’t ask for moreMore

All four of us really enjoyed our fish, veggie burgers, bourekas, and especially the roasted okra with feta and mint. Cute place, very large wine menu. One diner ordered a glass of red wine which came chilled much to our shock. She also didn’t like the...taste of the wine and sent it back. The owner came to talk to us about the proper temperature for reds and that his professional wine cooler was set perfectly. Well, there’s something to learn every day. I’ll concede the point to him but we still like our red wine warm. We would definitely go try this restaurant again as I suspect the menu changes seasonally.More

We had a nice cozy dinner here this weekend. Decent variety two page menu with mostly vegetarian and vegan options plus some fish options. Good quality food and tasty. Service was off—each dish was delivered individually, not coordinated for all of us to start eating...together. Nice selection of wine options.More

We came here for dinner. I ordered the roasted eggplant with tahini and chick peas, which reminded me of steak. The memory of the taste lingered in my memory for days. I also enjoyed the brick wall, woodwork and pottery decor. We stopped by again...a day or so later for dessert and coffee. I especially liked the baklava and the kataifi. The kataifi is served with dried fruit, which is a nice touch.More

This neighborhood place has an amazing wine list (over 120 according to the owner)), and fantastic fresh Mediterranean food.

Another amazing evening at this Nyc gem! Tonight I had the Cod Tagine- like dish! It was absolutely to die for! Fattush salad is always amazing. For dessert, the chocolate cake with mousse was delectable. With so many spots to choose from we just keep...coming back to this cozy diamond in the rough!More

In a neighborhood that has a dearth of restaurants and bars higher than 86th St, this is a wonderfully cozy wine bar. Good selection of wine, and rarely too crowded to get a seat. Great for a solo drink, dates or small gatherings.
