Went there every morning for breakfast. Didn't have opportunity to have dinner there. Breakfast is very good. Generous portions and very friendly staff. I could share my American breakfast with my son and still be very full. It's worth it if you're staying around the financial district.

Thank you Steve, Mario and entire team for an incredible eve. Steve you put a smile on all our faces with your "italian" accent and such warmth from the minute we walked through the door until we walked out! My daughters were so impressed at the service and the care you all demonstrated! We will never forget the "cara and... More

This little Italian restaurant is on the ground floor of the DoubleTree hotel. It's small and dark but reasonably pleasant. The staff were not busy but the food was tasty and the wine very nice.

Good place for a lunch near Wall street. Great service, nothing to complaint. But not maybe the best ever experience.

My recollection of this restaurant in its former incarnation, Ancora, is very strong and very positive, so I was moderately disappointed in my recent return. Located in the Wall Street area (near the Bowling Green subway station), Antica serves very solid Northern Italian cuisine and is certainly one of the better Italian options in the neighborhood. As with Ancora, they... More

Here with family after a long flight and staying at the Doubletree. Was having an excellent dinner. Very authentic and initially catered to my 7yo daughter with half order of spaghetti carbonara and raw broccoli. They did not have chocolate ice cream for dessert and suggested vanilla to which she said okay. The bill came. They charged us 14$for the... More

We arrived at the DoubleTree late and went next door for dinner. I told the waiter that I could not decide between the gnocchi and the risotto. He said gnocchi was his choice. Yes! It was the best gnocchi I have ever put in my mouth. Thanks for a great meal

Don't look inside the kitchen, even though the non-attentive staff will not hinder you. Amazing how this place can possibly be associated with the Doubletree hotel upstairs?

It looked a really nice place, the waiters were in tuxedo's, yet somehow it looked very pretentious, very slick, a processing machine for eliciting money from you. My wife needed the restroom, and was told it is on the 2nd floor of the Doubletree hotel above, That's a pain, up elevators into the hotel reception. Then it was the usual,... More

We came here for dinner, and it was the perfect end to a very long day. This was the best meal I had during my first trip to NYC! They set you up with starters, we had salami, parmesan, and grilled peppers (or green chiles?) with just enough spice and bread(of course). I started with the scallops and they were,... More
