My wife and I love this place. It is our favorite upper east side coffee shop! Great ambiance and kind bartenders.

Read about this place a few years ago so had to give it a try. Didnt realise the s'mores you have to make yourself, having never had them before the staff gave the basic idea of what to do. Great little place to have a...More

My favorite upper east side coffee shop! An organic, rustic little place with Irving Farm coffee and a wide variety of wine, beer and pastries. It's often difficult to find gems like this in one of Manhattan's poshest districts. DTUT is one-of-a-kind, with taxidermy on...More

The rugged vintage furnitures and the bricked wall certainly give a different ambiance to the upper east. A nice place to hang out for a coffee or tea. After a certain time, they increase the volume of the music, but when requested the volume went...More

We went twice in the past week, both times using the Groupon for a beer flight (or bottle of wine) and S'mores for 2. Both visits were excellent, and the service was great. Both the bartender and servers were personable and strived to make sure...More

DTUT had a nice selection of pastries and of course coffee drinks, but they also had quiche, frittata and more. It is a wonderful upper east side find. Everything was delicious, the atmosphere was comfortable and unrushed.

I love DTUT (downtown, uptown), drinks are pretty cheap compared to other places in the area and I like the slightly eclectic feel of the mix-matched couches, industrial lighting and bar stools. Also they have s'mores platters where you can toast your own marshmallows! Amazing....More
