My husband and I were disappointed with the food and service. We ordered the calamari that was good, but the pizza was just average. The tiramisu was not good. The service was okay. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere and the vibe was good, but I would not eat there again.

The people watching may be better! A mixture with some Eurotrash adds spice. Try pasta with truffles when in season.

Great service, great food, some interesting flavour combinations on pasta, gnocchi and pizza etc. Its a small and popular venue so tables very close together but this didn't bother us. No experience of the various mixed reviews we read here before going and our neighbours also seemed to be enjoying their meals 🙂

We frequented this place but of late, we have avoided it. It has made me think twice from patronizing Serafina after seeing rats run out of the building next door to it. Serafina has delicious pizzas, great goat salad and the best lobster pasta.

We were in NYC over Labor Day staying just a couple doors down at the Loews Regency. This place was so convenient to our hotel that we decided to give it a try immediately after checking in. We enjoyed it so much that we came back two more times during the weekend! We lucked out and got the same very... More

We went to this restaurant twice during our last visit. It was a very quick WALK from our hotel on 5th Ave, which was nice because the traffic in NY is crazy these days. It's upscale, but not stuffy. Nice staff. Hip place. Cool music. The food was really good. I suggest going there to avoid hotel food.

Our family dropped in for a lunch after a day in the park. The service was efficient, and the food was very good. We had pizza that was tasty, and a variety of salads (Avocado San Pietro had generous portion of shrimp) and were quite satisfied with all. The youngest was also quite pleased to get tennis racquet pasta.

Bruscheta: burnt and cold bread and not rubbed with garlic. The tomatos were almost frozen, savorless and with too much water. Burrata: taste of cream. Rizoto: overcooked, like babie food and also savorless Gnocchi: so-so Small tables. Atendents a little bit rude. Its a kind of place for people that don't know how to cook and cannot Good food. Serafina Always was wonderful! The staff was really sweet, helpful and attentive. You can tell this is a local favorite. We were very pleased with our selections and it doesn't seem like you can make a bad choice here. I was thrilled to see that there are lots of gluten free options. They have a great wine list. We were here on a Sunday - the day of the NYC marathon at 7 pm. The city was busy and unfortunately they didn't have several of the items we tried to order - mostly anything with mushrooms but all our dinner was fantastic. The calamari and beet salad were excellent and the calamari was perfectly done. We tried the... More

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighborhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighborhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighborhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
