Great steaks, bison particularly good (it is more tender than beef). There aren't that many starters to choose from, but they are very good as well. Wine is very reasonably priced by Manhattan standards and the choice is quite good. The only slight concern is service - when they are busy orders may get confused.

We ate at Teds Montana based upon a colleagues recommendation that the bison meat was excellent. I had the bison filet which was reasonably priced and delicious! Also good service.

WOW I am here from Florence Italy and Ted'd Grill truly did NYC justice. The steaks and burger was perfect. So much flavor it is hard to express in words. But to make the lunch even better read the waiter. He was there when needed and was the gold standard for service. Would recommend this place to every local and... More

Went in for the Avalon burger, our server Keith was the best server I've had in some time. His timeliness, personality, and professionalism were what I would expect at a 4 star restaurant. The food was cooked as ordered, the fries were made in store and were double cooked as they should be. Generous portions and reasonable prices made this... More

I took my daughter and her friend on a NYC outing for 8th grade graduation gift! We were seeing a show at Radio City and wanted to have dinner closer to the Hall. I researched and read some good reviews about Ted's Montana Grill and it's close proximity to Radio City Music Hall, so we figured we 'd try it.... More

Locations is very convenient. You can choose either bison or beef. I choose a bison with a bottle of red wine. Bison was tasty and service was good. I made my reservation via OpenTable and my table was ready when I arrived.Visit and try you will find convenient.

My friends came from England to NYC and my wife and I met them. They wanted a place in which they could try bison meat. This was highly recommended and they didn't disappoint. Many choices and good food. It was located within a building, so it was a bit tough to find, but that was actually a good thing. This... More

Went here as 2 couples for birthday celebrations. They boast bison meat for many menu options. Place is named after Ted Turner and Montana because his bison ranch is there. We started with appetizers which were excellent. Portions were smallish so kept room for the steaks ahead. Wine menu was good with a range of regions and price options for... More

We visited specifically to sample some good bison...it had been years since we had any. The had bison rib-eyes as their daily special, so we had one each along with salads and soup. Everything was very tasty and the service was efficient and not overwhelming, like we like it.

Bison steaks are awesome. It is not many places that you can get Bison. Great service and good location. Try it. Prices are OK. About $35 for a 14 -16 oz bison steak.

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
