My daughter and I went for lunch and shared the lunch special. There are a number of choices but we got stuffed yuca, which was so good, and a Cuban sandwich. The sandwich was huge and tasted great. There was plenty of food for the two of us, as we are not big eaters. I always appreciate a restaurant that... More

I visited this because of the great reviews and I was not disappointed! The service was very friendly and the food was delicious! The top floor had a great atmosphere with music and lively people. The lower floor was more quiet and the staff were able to accommodate us and seat us there to have good conversation. I had my... More

Place gets rave reviews, but my husband and I were underwhelmed and overcharged. I guess the prices weren't that out of line for midtown, but we left feeling like we had not gotten our $100 worth. I had a glass of sangria, husband had nothing to drink. One appetizer, the ceviche mixto which only had calamari and shrimp in it.... More

I was in NYC for a conference which had ended, and I had a late flight. I have never tried Cuban food before, so I thought I would give it a try. Having nothing to compare it to, for me it was excellent overall. Not sure what a Cuban food aficionado would say, but I liked it. I told the... More

Just ate here with a small group of friends. None of us are locals. This is a fun place with great food. My only complain was the noise. It's a smaller locale and with the sound of people talking and music in the background it's a bit hard to hear the conversation going on around you. Waiters were very friendly... More

Overpriced for Paella that had 2 mussels, 2 clams, 6 rings of squid and a lot of red rice. Plantains were little overdone.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
