This place serves the best Chocolate Shake I've ever had. The Chocolate Pizza is also incredible. I love this place. It's not crazy expensive and the food is awesome. I've never had the real food here before but it looks really good. I would highly recommend this place. Oh the service is very good too.

Excellent dishes all loaded with chocolate and such a fun place to be for a special lunch. Never been here and will definitely make it a must on every visit to NYC.

Whenever we are in New York, my husband and I always make sure to visit Union Square as an excuse to pop in for chocolate bonbons or fondue from Max Brenner's. My love affair began when I was introduced to chocolate by the bald man while on a business trip. A dear friend and colleague of mine made the trek... More

That's a great concept but chocolate taste and quality was poor and that spoiled the magic. Maybe French and US taste are too far away on the matter but I guess it could be a lot better with some variation in chocolate choice and real quality. Service slow and quite noisy.

You must try the mac and cheese and the waffle cheese steak sandwich! Oddly, however, the dessert was not very good.

Overrated and overpriced dessert and chocolate shop/restaurant. If you are still really keen on coming here on a Saturday night when the wait can be up to 2 hours, TIP: book it on open table. You're likely to get a table much quicker. While there was a huge crowd at 9PM with the waitress telling guests the 2hr wait time,... More

If you are a chocoholic like me or someone who enjoys a good chocolaty dessert, Max Brenner is a MUST try if you are in NYC. The melting chocolate truffle heart cake is my favorite. And no trip to the place is complete without a cuppa of max's classic hot chocolate! The service is great, the ambience is perfect and... More

This place serves some seriously good omelettes for breakfasts.. i tried the Maxican omellete which was amazing.. they serve a side dip of melted chocolate which is outstanding.. i think the pure melted chocolate is their specialty and you can also see all the plumbing carrying melted chocolate around the restaurant.. it was too hot for us to try the... After a long day and evening at The Public Theater, I'm so glad we stopped at Max Brenner's on our way home. We enjoyed the Southwest salad and the Mac and Cheese with bacon was comfort food at it's best! My daughter had room for one of their hot chocolates and shared s'mores dessert with me! The dessert menu is... More
