Tasty food with several options. All dishes that we ordered were delicious and the service was excellent, very kind treat. If we can back to NY we will go to Riko again!!

Ordered 1/2 dark chicken and got white meat which was dry. Jalea was ok. Staff seemed indifferent and inattentive to customer and tended to favor Spanish-speaking customers. Food was not horrible but overcooked, clams adhered to shell in Jalea. I think they have the ability...to do better. Maybe it was a bad day and maybe on bad days restaurants shouldn't open but take a brake.More
Riko on 8th Avenue within 100 yards of Penn Station is a great location if you are traveling or seeing a show at MSG. The place is small. It is popular because they serve delicious food at reasonable prices. Check it out!
very simple restaurant that serves excellent Peruvian dishes. You come here for the food. Simple place, good prices and very good food.
Decent food, nothing special. Very small place and not friendly cashiers/ workers. I don't get it. Only ordered to go then, not to stay and eat.
I took my family here and everyone loved the Peruvian food. We had a bunch of appetizers like ceviche, plantains, fried chicken bites, nuts with a tomatillo sauce, beans, and more. They were all good. The dinners were also amazing. My son and I had...this gigantic paella in a large pineapple, which was stuffing and amazing. My wife had avocado salad which she also liked. The Peru soccer team was on TV playing in the Copa America Cup and the place was going crazy. I would highly recommend a visit here:More
Walking into the tiny restaurant feels like we stepped out of NYC into a little Peru. We almost walked past it. Very glad we went in. The seafood fried rice was very popular. My cerviche was very spicy even though medium so watch out! Good...prices.More
One of my favorite places to eat in New York City. Visited with friends who’ve never had Peruvian food. And they are hooked! Highly recommend this place!
I stopped in to order a meal "to go," to take on my train leaving from Penn Station which is right next door. Homey, family-style atmosphere, really tasty food, friendly staff and clientele. I ordered some type of seafood stew (sorry don't remember the name)...which was excellent. They even offered me a complimentary glass of wine while I was waiting for it to be prepared. A bit crowded, might be challenging to seat a large group.More
This is one of those cozy places you won't notice in the NYC clutter of eateries... If you are searching for a great Peruvian restaurant, you are luck if you are reading this... Excellent service... Delicious and well prepared food... Ridiculously large portions... On the...low side of moderately priced...More
Cozy, lively Peruvian eatery: ceviche, roast chicken /w rice and beans are tasty and beautifully presented. Chilled Pisco Sour cocktail with egg white and grape liquor is heaven!!
The food is superb. The place is lively with music. Red wine is offered on the house. The rotisserie chicken is their popular dish. The fried seafood comes in small and large servings. The large will feed 6 people. Caution though if there are 2...people they will assume you will order Large so specify. If you order chicken to go cut up and in 2 containers they will charge you for 1/2 chicken twice and will cost more. An order of Chicken is only $10.85 but getting two halves is almost $14. Check you tab all the time.More
I’ve been here a few times and it’s prettt consistent. Great for a quick lunch or dinner meal. The service is pretty good and the food is even better. The plaintains and meats are always pretty good. Try the roasted chicken!
My wife and I had dinner here, before leaving NYC by train via Penn Station. The restaurant is located directly next to Penn station. We ordered Ceviche which is a full dish and very very delicious. The specialty fried rice was also very good. For...the quality and quantity of food that you get this restaurant is excellent value for money. We would definitely come back.More
Looking for a quick bite while transiting though Penn Station ? This was not only great food, but did not take long, close to the station and they had the world Cup!!! Winning
