Food was excellent and we were surprised at how great the service was considering how busy it was. We had pre booked a table and we were seated right on that time. We had a great night and would defiantly recommend it.

My family and I had a fantastic meal at Buddakan. The cocktails and food were excellent, especially the ribs and the atmosphere was excellent. Well worth a visit.

This would be my 3rd time going to this restaurant, and I will continue to go every time I come to NYC! Not cheap, but worth the experience of amazing food and drinks!

I had good memories for Buddakan and took there a business partner. Quite disappointing. We got appetizers and main course. Yellowtail flavorless and shrimp tasted like they had a cheese sauce on them. Black bass was a sort of fish and chips with chunks of fried fish to dip in a sauce. The other fish plate was good but I... More

This is a cool restaraunt downtown. It's more of a fun loud environment with their own mix of house music. It's quite dark but the decor is great. The menus are meant for sharing which is great but when you have a large group and a table that can't house the large playing they use, then it gets a bit... More

Huge place which in this case equals really bad service. Had to wait very long time to be seated even with reservations. The waitress did not have any time to attend to our table. Had to wait 10 minutes before she showed up for the first time then walked away before we could order anything. This repeated several times, waitress... More

I came here with a group of eight people and none of us were disappointed. We got the fixed price tasting menu at $95/person, so we know beforehand how much we were spending. While a minimum of six people need to order the tasting menu, they also have $70/p and $80/p options. It was hard to tell if the prices... More

Amazing food and service. My only gripes being - I had asked for a table in the main hall (downstairs) two weeks before and whilst they did manage expectations and say they'd try, we didn't get it. They made a nice effort at desserts though. I'm also wary when restaurants that aren't fully booked make you wait 20 mins for... More
