Some work colleagues and I went for dinner here whilst staying at the Harvard Club next door. I'm not a big fan of Greek food, but I have to concede that this was a good restaurant. I had prawns on a mushroom risotto, and it was excellent. My colleagues had grilled prawns and loved them. The waitress was fantastic; friendly... More

We went to Kellari as a large group, New York popular theater district restaurant with a two hour window before the show. I ordered garden salad and the salmon. Others had cod, lobster bisque and other appetizers with dessert order taken once they finally took our order...about 35 minutes in. The salad, soup and other items came. Soup was cold,... More

The food was good and the drinks also, the small bar confortable and bartender very friendly. It was a pre theater dinner , so the the waiters were a little pressing /rushing. Not a bad choice for pre theater in the area with some vegetarian choices. Not cheap

Dinner at Kellari is a feast of Mediterranean goodness with freshly grilled fish, Greek salad and sardines as just a few of the options. This restaurant can be very noisy as it's so popular so ask for a table by the wall but don't be surprised if you're cheek by jowl with a noisy group of New Yorkers You can... More

Amazing dinner on Sunday after attending Broadway mattinee. I had the Lobster menu which was priceless... BEST decision I made. Excellent service and great wine selections. So close to my hotel; almost next door so I stayed awhile after finished dinner. Nice background music allowed conversation. Will be back.

Dependable spot, good for a date. Reservations generally not needed. Enjoy a fish dish or have a simple fresh meal of a few apps.

Returned to Kellari on Thursday night and as always they are a MUST! I brought friends that had never been and they were instantly in love as is everyone I bring with me. Ran late after a show and the staff were so wonderful to make us feel welcome even though we were the last table for the evening. The... More

This restaurant was highly recommended and did not disappoint. We were lucky to get the last table available on a Tuesday night (at 6.45pm), though we weren't rushed out when we finished our meal so I think their timings are more for kitchen management than table turnover. But probably worth booking if you do want to try it. The service... More

Great midtown Greek restaurant very convenient to the theatre district. We have been here several times and have always been happy with the selection of fresh fish.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
