My husband and I have been planning to go to Morimoto and when we finally did, it did not disappoint. The restaurant is beautiful and modern while the atmosphere was classy but relaxed. It would be a great option for a date night, or a special occasion or simply to splurge on an excellent meal. We opted not to do... More

Truly that best service and sashimi I have ever had including Zuma and no I, far better, at least for sushi. Try the bone marrow ikura! Delicacy in heaven. Not our first time, not the last. Well done. Caution. Average ticket for 2 will run $250, well worth it.

My mother and I came here to kick off our trip in New York City. I still think about this restaurant, even though it's been about 2 years. The food was extremely fresh, the staff was nice and approachable, and the interior was super unique and artsy. As others have stated, the toilets are a crazy addition, but gave us... More

From the moment when we walked in we loved Morimoto. The wait staff was attentive; ours made several great suggestions. My son had the seasonal sushi.Ahhh... I had the Australian steak with broccoli. But wait, there's more. Get the flaming dessert. OMG. Overall, one of my best meals ever.

Morimoto is a sushi fan's must visit in NYC! On top of great food, the restaurant is B-E-A-UTIFUL! The diverse selection of fish is very fresh and delicious. The cooked menu items are equally phenomenal. Their dessert is also among the best I've had in my life! My mom and I made lunch reservations and walked by the restaurant's entrance... More

We hadn't planned on having dinner at Morimoto, but after walking through Chelsea Market, we decided to want something better. What can one say about Iron Chef Morimoto? It will be THE best decision one can make.... hands down, must experience.

Pretty much what you expect. Morimoto is not a place that screams "bring your kids", nevertheless, we did. My daughter demanded it and we gave in. Totally worth it. Everything we had, both such I and otherwise, was top shelf. The toilets were space age and my young son now wants electric door and massage heater potty for his bathroom....... More

We told the server to build the menu for us. Wow...it was the best idea ever! Every plate is presented like art, it was beautiful. On top, it was delicious. The chef works with fresh fish like real artwork! We had a blast!
