We had an awesome food experience! The innovative presentations were just as impressive as his ice smoker!! Service was shockingly sub par - but the tastes made up for it! Next time I will ask for a seasoned server!

Orders served to wrong person three times in one meal. Sushi counter vibe sterile and passionless. Dishes overall middling.

Very nice place, but i think the tables are too close to each others. Went there with my girlfriend on our anniversary trip, I had the chicken soup (very nice) and salmon; my girlfriend had smoked salmon ravioli, plus a martini and a beer and the bill was around $120. Of what we had, I'd recommend the chicken soup, the... More

Morimoto is one of few special locations in New York I adore when I'm looking for outstanding Japanese cousine and vibrant vibes. The Restaurant is very attractive on its stylish construction, with large use of concrete and glass...perfectly matching the Top Standards you will find in service and, most of all the superb dishes! Regarding to the menù, I suggest... More

Very good Japanese cuisine in a modernistic cool space by Chelsea market. Even though it looks like it's a part of Chelsea market on the map, it's a separate restaurant on 10th av. Came here for restaurant week during lunch. Service was fast even though they were busy. Got blackened cod along with the chocolate dessert. The cod was amazingly... More

We went to Morimoto for lunch to celebrate my nephew's 21st Birthday. The decor is beautiful, the service is good but I am not sure if the food is something you would expect from the kitchen of an Iron Chef. Perhaps we did not order the right stuff, in which case our server should have helped us or maybe expectations... More

Right when you walk it the hostess is ready to greet and take your coat with a super friendly attitude. The ambience is clean contemporary and very warm. I love the open view to the many chefs. Our meal was so fresh and very good! I highly recommend this place! We enjoyed every course especially the finale. Every single plate... More

Lunch today during Restaurant Week, was amazing, due to the cool ambiance, great service, and very good food too, reasonably priced. Enjoyed the braised black cod with ginger soy reduction, and the sides it came with too. The chocolate dessert was pretty amazing too.

I took some clients here on business as they requested it while in New York. They said it was their favorite restaurant and we went there for dinner. The table ordered the tasting menu plus the pairings which was roughly $230 per person. It came with a 7 course meal including dessert. It was one of the best meals I've... More

The first time I ate at Morimoto was back in 2013 when I was 16. Every time I'm in NYC I always plan a night that I can go eat at my favorite restaurant. The vibe is chic. The food is outstanding. Highly recommend the King Crab!! Even their bathroom is incredible! The waiters and waitresses are so nice and... More
