Description: Empire Steak House, conveniently located at 237 west 54 street near...
Empire Steak House, conveniently located at 237 west 54 street near Broadway, showcases modern decor in a classy, but trendy atmosphere. The all-white marble bar and sprawling dining room provide an additional air of sophistication. While Empire's steaks are acclaimed for its famous dry-aged porterhouse for two, the rest of the vast menu is equally stellar, featuring a wide range of fresh seafood such as 4-to 5-lb lobsters, Chilean Sea Bass, Salmon, Yellow Fin Tuna, towering seafood platters, and much more. The eatery offers a highly selective wine list and features many of California's most sought after vintages. The Zagat rated restaurant is owned and operated by the Sinanaj family. The Sinanaj's success dates back to their first restaurant opening of Empire Steak House in 2010. The space is 4,500 square feet and can accommodate 230 guests for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, private rooms available!

Great steak

We ate in the bar and loved it there. So relaxing. We were offered the entire wine list and ordered a bottle. The filets we had would melt in your mouth and came with some very fresh vegetables. Our waiter was nice and knowledgeable, but they had him doing many things. So we had to wait a couple... read more

To be honest, there was absolutely nothing special. Customer service was nice, we were asked every couple of minutes if everything was ok. Food was just average. We ordered calamari and clam chouder for appetizers- they were good. My filet mignon was good, but a little burned. Kobe beef burger was raw inside and it wasn't anything special- bun, lettuce,... My husband and I stopped in on a Friday night to grab a bite to eat at the bar. We were casually dressed and didn't want to go into the restaurant itself, but we noticed others dressed similarly in the bar area so we felt fine going in. SERVICE: The bartender was friendly and pretty helpful though definitely spread way... More

We booked Christmas lunch not knowing what to expect as we had not seen a menu. The restaurant was quite busy but it had a good atmosphere. There was a good choice of each course, for a main course I ordered the steak, which was the best steak I had eaten in a long time. The staff were lovely and... More

Went for lunch during restaurant week and the value for money was amazing. We had thick cut bacon, fillet steak and burger (huge), followed by cheesecake and chocolate mousse - all plates cleared!

This hotel was recommended to us by our hotel concierge and we are glad it was! We visited for a special occasion and so were happy to pay higher prices, but if you are looking for cheap eats then this may not be the place for you. We had a starter to share which was delicious and served to us... More

The restaurant was absolutely amazing! The ambiance was perfect for our romantic dinner and the wait staff was efficient and very helpful. I had the Prime Rib, which is my favorite cut of meat, and it was out of this world. Come with a healthy appetite because the cut was huge! My wife enjoy her seafood dish as well.

We had a great but hurried meal in this restaurant which was attached to our hotel, the Hilton Garden Inn. The food was great - steaks looked nice, but I had salmon and a salad - and the friendly waiter accommodated our short pre-show time schedule.

Our party of five dined here late on a Saturday night on a spur of the moment decision. Recommended by concierge at the nearby Ameritania. We could not have made a better choice. Warm welcome followed by one of the best young waiters I have ever encountered. The porterhouse for four was fantastic as was the reasonably priced wine recommended... More
