I visited from the UK with my husband as we had been told about the famous burger. It was really nice but the fries were awful and pointless. We also had the Cubano which was not like any Cubano I've ever had. The meat seemed...More

you should order the burger with chips, its really good and served in a funny way as you see from the pictures here on Tripadvisor. Service is okay and atmosphere is really good.

A great little find - a hugger mugger, atmospheric gastro pub set in Greenwich Village where you sit cheek by jowl with other diners, a number of whom are British ex-pats, and enjoy the simple but tasty food on offer, while over hearing snatched portions...More

The food was....alright....it looked like they were trying a little to hard to be different and the result was not necessarily the tastiest - I would say it was average at best, there are a lot of restaurants and cafes in the area, and I...More

Enjoyed my solo visit very much. Had a burger and fries. The shoestring fries were absolutely delicious! Server was good, very friendly and prompt. I’d go back.

If you know you want the hamburger or snack, check out the Pig in the late afternoon before the 5:00 closing. The menu is limited, but several good items, including the burger and fries, was available and NO WAIT. The asparagus soup was amazing. Going...More

Had the burger with fries - which is what almost everybody orders here. The (matchstick) fries were nice and the burger was ok, but a bit overpriced in my opinion. Certainly didn't live up to the hype. Didn't like service and attitude at all. Took...More

We went between the lunch and dinner servings, at 5.00. Dinner starts at 5.30pm. Got a seat at the bar while we waited for dinner to start. Had put our name at the door, and the server knew we were at the bar, but still...More

I have to say that the service was excellent and the burger was delicious. Simply garnished no muss no fuss - just Roquefort and meat, perfectly seasoned and cooked. The Guinness was beautifully poured and suited a dreary rainy day. It could have been a...More

We had a great lunch here! My husband and I are visiting from out of town and randomly stopped in. We ordered the burger and fries. The burger was delicious! Fries were a huge tangled pile and so crispy. Best of all, they had my...More

West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the
West Village is one of the city’s most coveted
addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and
cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture,
this neighborhood has a unique old-world feel. You
won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan.
Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to
get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you
