Incredible sangria, mojitos, and empanadas. All of the food there is great, and I have been there many times and tried many things. Note that there is very loud, live music, which is good but makes it hard to have a conversation.

Vaca frita is highly recommended! Pernil and picadillo are great too. Make sure the chicken isn't dry though. Great staff ask for Yousef

This is a nice restaurant located less than a block from Time Square. I ate there for lunch on a weekday. The food was good. Prices not too bad ($$). Service was good with friendly, attentive wait staff. Food was not spicy, but may not be suitable for children. The atmosphere was lively and made you feel as if you... More

John and I decided to revisit Havana Central in NYC before seeing "Mathilda" . The atmosphere here is always so festive. We were seated immediately at a cozy table. Since we didnt want to overeat and then sit in the theater for two + hours we decided to split an appetizer, dinner, and dessert. We started off with Tostones Rellenos... More

We had a family get together last Saturday. The food was good but the atmosphere rather loud which we think caused our server to mess up our order. All in all we enjoyed it though.

Nice food, good choice. Recommend the mixed starter. Drinks were OK not huge choice of beer but what they had was good.

We were looking to eat something light after a Broadway show and decided to enter Havana Central. The first impression was excellent. They had a Latin band playing salsa. They promptly invited us to sit but we decided for the bar. We requested wine and a sample of empanadas. The shrimp empanada was outstanding. The others were good too (cheese... More

A great place to visit for some truly delicious food in nice surroundings with a truly wacky staff! Just put yourself in Iwan's hands and your evening will get off to a great start! We had our first meal in New York here as it was very close to our hotel and we'd been travelling all day. The food is... More

Nice Cuban food with fast service. Great black beans and fried plantains, the yellow rice is kind of dull. Desserts are original and tasty. The service is fast and friendly. The prices are very reasonable for New York city.
