On our family trip to NYC, our kids wanted rice and beans (we're from PR you know...) so we visited Havana Central among other Latin restaurants...but this one is truly an experience. Mylza, our bartender and Carolyn, our server were soooooo nice, helpful, always with a smile and even talkative with our kids. The food was delicious always. We stayed... More

We had a meal here on a sunday night! It was fantastic, there was live cuban music and the meal was really nice. I had been here 7 years ago and every time I come back to NYC I want to go back but never got the chance until now! I was not disappointed the service is quick, the waiter... More

If you like Cuban food this is a must go place called ahead to see if there's entertainment. When the entertainment is available it's off the charts wonderful. We did have to send my wife's food back because I made it in correctly however they did it quick. Moderately priced and make sure you order the Cuban coffee.

Dining near Times Square on a Friday night means you cannot escape crowds and noise. Both were well represented at this attractive place with very good food and good prices for the area. Service was perfunctory; they were jammed!

We were in New York for 3 nights and found this place on the first day. What a find great having visited Cuba we were pleased to find a Cuban restaurant. The service and food were excellent. The waiter was so helpful in recommending various dishes. Can't praise this place highly enough - a must visit place.

We loved the place, the staff is great and the food was very nice. Just ask the waiter about the quality of the tapioca before you order it, our "yuca con mojo "was very hard but the cancelled it from the order.

Went before going to radio city music hall Friday evening. Traffic was hell due to protests but staff was very nice when I called and asked to hold table another 15 minutes. Party of 6 seated immediately upon arrival (love a restaurant that keeps table open for reservation). After settling in with a pitcher of coconut Mojitos. We ordered empanadas,... More

I love Cuban food and I was thrilled with the selection of foods at Havana Central. I may even go as far to say possibly the best ribs I've ever had. The chicken empanadas are some of the best I've ever had. Service was good and staff was attentive. Prices were excellent - especially in a touristy area of manhattan.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
