What else can I say about Nobu that hasn't been said before? If nothing it's consistent and amazing service. I always order a few dishes off the classic menu and then a few from the seasonal/local menu. Fresh seafood paired with delicious sake (try one of the Nobu ones, they are very good). The restaurant is huge and it's ridiculously... More

Once again, Jessi at Nobu created a phenomenal experience for our family of 3! Tai, kanpachi, sushi, black cod, octopus all phenomenal! Service is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!

My daughter and I were in NYC on a girls getaway. I lost my husband, her father, earlier in the year and because our wedding anniversary would have been in October - I decided to visit one of my favorite cities. Nobu 57 is known to be pricey and hard to get into. We were excited we were able to... More

The food is tremendous. Even though it's a staple part of the scene it still has some wow to it. Made a mistake. I asked the waiter to pick the dishes and the check reflected that. I thought that was a little cheeky but that was my fault. That said. It's the sort of place where it's good to take... More

My first time at the 57th street restaurant...Awkward entrance to upstairs by elevator .stairs more attractive, but long. Parts of the restaurant can be loud at certain times...we found pleasant quiet area. It is different from the downtown Nobu (which is moving soon). This one is very large and grand, not cozy. You can sit at small tables by the... More

Food was awesome, absolutely delicious like at many other Nobu's. There was a delay for our last dish, and that spoiled a bit the experience since we were not that hungry anymore and the hot elements weren't as hot as expected. The restaurant was specially noisy but it was crowded so maybe that's how it is supposed to be. The... More

Perfect place for a special occasion. The food was both tasty and exciting, the service impeccable. The atmosphere is a bit hectic, but it doesn't detract from the overall amazing dining experience.

The first uptown New York location by legendary chef Nobu Matsuhisa, opened to much anticipation in the summer of 2005. Nobu's co-owners are his longtime partners: renowned restaurateur Drew Nieporent, Oscar-winning actor Robert De Niro, and producer Meir Teper. The restaurant showcases Nobu's signature New Style Japanese cuisine with classic dishes such as Yellowtail Sashimi with Jalapeno and Black Cod Miso, and new creations from the wood burning oven and the hibachi table.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
