We had lunch at Nobu57. I had the Nobu lunch bento box. It was mostly good except the last part which was a "Ribeye Anticucho ". It had a too heavy sauce on top covering the meat and the rice that was overly spicy. We...More

Restaurant ambiance is good. Dessert was wow, enjoyed the matcha and banana pecan dessert. Eel maki was okay, Tacos had no seasoning at all( the sauce as well) The way they plated the sashimi is quite boring.

Like the other locations, this location was filled with good looking people eating expertly prepared sushi. There are some fixed price lunches, but we stuck to the a la carte sushi menu. I find it difficult to steer away from the hamachi with jalapeños when...More

Popped in quite late, even if we did not book they allowed us to dine in. Great interiors, delicious food, welcoming staff. What else? 5 stars for sure!

Excellent food! The shrimp in spicy garlic sauce is exquisite. The field greens and tempura that come with it are fresh and also delicious. Prices are very reasonable for the standing of the restaurant and location. The service was impeccable.

Very helpful service staff, particularly if Japanese dishes are a relatively new experience. Vibrant atmosphere, good wine list.

Great staff. Fantastic food. Great physical plant. Just a little too loud. Could not hear the waitress. Overall, was a great dining experience. Wait staff went out of their way to assure that we had a memorable graduation meal

The first uptown New York location by legendary chef Nobu Matsuhisa, opened to much anticipation in the summer of 2005. Nobu's co-owners are his longtime partners: renowned restaurateur Drew Nieporent, Oscar-winning actor Robert De Niro, and producer Meir Teper. The restaurant showcases Nobu's signature New Style Japanese cuisine with classic dishes such as Yellowtail Sashimi with Jalapeno and Black Cod Miso, and new creations from the wood burning oven and the hibachi table.
