Came here for lunch with my finacée on 06/21/2016. We had to queue for about 10 mins for an outside table (there were tables available inside) but the hostess was excellent and really kept us in the loop the whole time. We got a good table where we could enjoy the beautiful weather and just watch the world go by.... More

I sat at the bar and had a Kelso Dark Ale and dinner. It was really good. I had been for a walk on the high line at dusk and then stopped by here for my evening meal.

Wagyu steak was top notch. Cooked to perfection. Huge onion rings! Service just right - attentive but not OTT.

We had dinner, it was full but not too loud. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the food.Great proximity to the High Line. I have heard the brunch is really good too.

I was disappointed with my breakfast sandwich suggested by our waitress. It was definitely visually appealing but it lacked flavor. I was hoping for full spice but I had to add salt to my flavorless potatoes. The sandwich was okay but the coleslaw was good and seasoned well. There was a long wait and not worth the wait.

Very busy place for brunch on Sunday but we managed to get seats indoors. Super waiter- friendly, funny, helpful. I tried the BLT bloody mary which has bacon infused vodka (!) a slice of bacon hanging in the drink with some radiccio floating in the drink. VERY spicy but quite delicious. Our food was also very good with typical American... More

Came here after a 2 hour cruise of NY harbor, and its about 2 blocks away, which was great. Restaurant is attractive, lots of waitstaff and friendly. We looked at the menu beforehand and was not aware that the menu changes, so we were a little disappointed when one of the things i was looking forward to having was not... More

I'm always on the look out for dog friendly restaurants in New York and Cookshop makes this list. It's a good neighborhood restaurant with a great summer patio, that allows dogs. The staff is hip and friendly. Even friendly to my pooch, bringing him treats and water. Our waiter was friendly and fun. The food did take a very long... More

I had heard good things about Cookshop from a few friends, and while it offers a solid spot in near the HighLine, I can't say it's worth a trip... The menu has lots of variety, but my dining companion was somewhat disappointed in his meal. Mine was a bit better, but not necessarily memorable.

I was visiting family in NY and we decided to stroll the High Line. Searched trip advisor for good restaurants nearby and found the Cook Shop! What a find! One of the best meals I had the entire trip, from the friendly and efficient wait staff to the phenomenally creative food, to dining outside enjoying the weather and the whole... More
