Enjoyed two wonderful meals while staying next door at The Bryant Park Hotel. Food was amazing. Service top notch. Pricing very reasonable. Also dined at Tao mid town during our stay in NYC. Preferred Koi over Tao hands down hence going back a second time.

Very attentive waiter! Fresh dishes after each selection. Nice atmosphere. We sat close to the sushi bar. The crunchy rice sushi was superb. I highly recommend that. The salmon and tuna were great.

We were staying at The Trump Soho and chose to eat at Koi restaurant . The service was slow despite us being told that the kitchen was very busy" yet the restaurant was less than half full. The dishes were unimaginative. The aubergine arrived after we finished our meal . The charges for any slight variation from their standard dishes was... More

I had never heard of Koi and was only told it was asian fusion style. What I discovered was a meal so delicious that we went back the very next night to try other things on the menu and second time around was just as good!!

The restaurant is inside a very nice hotel at Bryant Park. The restaurant style is very nice and staff is friendly. The Sashimi was excellent. The Tempura was outstanding. Over all one of the best Japanese dinners I had so far.

We met for a business dinner and again this restaurant nailed it. Good advise from the servers and some excellent execution from the chefs. Another great meal. Thanks.

A few friends and I went on a Wednesday night to celebrate my recent marriage and a friend's farewell. From the moment we walked in until the moment we walked out, it was a wonderful experience. Our server Bonnie was really sweet, had great suggestions and recommendations and was overall wonderful to have as a part of our experience. We... More

We wanted to go to Nobu but found this one closer and with an open table. The atmosphere and the food are great here. Go for shared plates. This is where chef brings in his great inspiration. Very delicious and different. The Kobe beef carpaccio was nothing special though. We enjoyed the dinner overall.

Description
Rich earth tones of orange, red and brown impart warmth to the cool and tranquil space. Thin tapestries of translucent rose fabric are embellished with flame motifs and suspended from the ceiling, creating a separate seating area perfect for a light bite near the large front windows. Famous for its unique and mouth-watering interpretation of Japanese cuisine. Upscale Japanese fare is given a jolt of new life through an innovative use of ingredients, resulting in refreshing and exciting flavor combinations. Crispy Rice with Spice Tuna, an addictive version of the classic spicy tuna roll, featuring warm grilled rice topped with a thick layer of cool, savory tuna. Baked Crab Roll, for which succulent fresh crab meat is wrapped in a thin rice paper dotted with sesame seeds and baked to perfection. Hamachi Fusion with Soy-Citrus and Truffle Essence all artfully plated by Koi’s skilled culinary team.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
