While visiting New York, a friend recommended Quantum Leap. We are all very healthy eaters. What a delightful restaurant. The waitress was sweet and so accommodating. The food was out of this world. I had grilled flounder with brown rice and veggies, my husband had seafood skewers and my friend had a Shrimp Curry Stew special that he raved about.... More

Nestled in Greenwich Village just a stones throw from some great jazz clubs is Quantum Leap. Excellent food and service, all prepared fresh. If you're looking for light, tasty cuisine, then Quantum Leap is for you. Sunday Brunch is amazingly delicious, too!

The homey, unpretentious atmosphere and large menu promised a fine vegetarian experience, but what we got was a mixed bag. The good – and they are REALLY good… The vegetable split pea soup was a good as any I’ve ever had; fantastic taste and texture with carrot and potato chunks make it an even heartier experience. The carrot and beet... More

We were visiting NYU with my daughter and met a friend for lunch at this restaurant and I have to say we LOVED it. Such a large amount of choices, the food was excellent, everyone loved it and the price was very good. I highly recommend this restaurant. Their veggie burger is one of the best I have ever had.... Had dinner at Quantum Leap before seeing a comedy show at Greenwich Village comedy club and we were really impressed. The menu had a good range and was appealing even for people who aren't vegetarians. Ordered the soy nuggets and vietnamese summer rolls as well as the Morrocon burger with a Falafel patty and all were full of flavour and... More

Late lunch at Quantum Leap one Saturday, always popular, always full, managed to get a table nevertheless. As in my previous reviews, food is plentiful, service good, same waitress, a short hop from Washington Square, even with a bad exchange rate this is a cheap place to eat. It's a bit shabby inside, but it's perfectly clean, recommended

My wife &I visited this restaurant in Greenwich Village though we are not vegetarians. We both had the enchiladas which were full of different flavours and very filling. They also serve some great looking "burgers", vegetarian of course, but stacked with various toppings. The value was good for a mid-range restaurant, the atmosphere & surroundings we're what we expected of... More

The most delicIous Satay in town! The texture is great and the sauce to die for. Also, BEST FRIES in town. I know!, the 2 don't quite seem like they would be found in the same location. Their garlic fries are Perfection! Crisp and light on the outside. Soft and delicious on the inside. Everything else was good, too. You should... More

This place has been around a long time and it is easy to see why they have developed a loyal following. The food is natural and vegetarian (most items can be made vegan). Four of us had brunch and enjoyed everything from the waffles and garlic fries to the tacos and tamales. We were fortunate to get a table right... More

Staying in Greenwich Village

Neighborhood Profile
Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to get a feel for this diverse and energetic neighborhood. You’ll find NYU students, street performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess. Stroll the streets to discover a mix of majestic town homes and hidden bars and restaurants that give this neighborhood an old-school residential feel. When the sun goes down, check out one of the famous jazz or comedy clubs that still packs them in every night.
